markrothumeo, I don't do these types of crimes, but I'd imagine that if I did, the person on the receiving end of a beating wouldn't feel love even if it was intended.

These kids beat a classmate almost to death, how is this a wrongful charge?

The fact that there had been racial incidents and tensions prior to this does not excuse the action. The fact that some of the cracker clowns running that town were lenient towards their cracker white trash kids doing wrong does not excuse their action.

The kid was attacked from behind, knocked out, and they beat and stomped his motionless body; it took hours of emergency surgery to save his life.

The original charge of 2nd degree attempted murder were knocked down to 2nd degree battery, and wankers like Bowie still consider that a "wrongful charge"?

Love his comment: "There is clearly a separate and unequal judicial process going on in the town of Jena," Bowie said

Oh really? You were on the jury? You saw all the evidence, heard all the arguments, looked at the faces and body language of defendants and the victim?

Yes, of course if it was the other way around it would be considered a hate crime.

Every time I see Al Sharpton open his mouth about something like this, it burns me up. He was never made to answer for the false allegations of Tawana Brawley, which he very vocally supported and very vocally attacked the "alleged perpetrators" who were police officers who had their names and reputations damaged by the false accusations.

It probably would be considered a hate crime if it were the other way around and I am sure plenty of people would sympathize with the perps (hate mongerers, for one).

Plently of celebrities and other people contribute to defence funds for people of all races. The thing at issue here is whether he may have not received a fair trial due to his race, not that his actions were motivated by race.

Yes, if six whites had jumped one African-American, it would be a hate crime, and everyone would be calling for the white kids to be locked up for life.

It appears the only way a white person can be the victim of a hate crime is if that white person is gay, or practices Judaism...

All crime is hate crime---the designation is silly--do you run around robbing people or beating them up and call it a "love crime"?

The Perps? What is your question? The Jena 6 boys are in jail but the boys who jumped the one black kid until he was knocked out cold , guns were pulled, bottles were broken over some ones head & hanging nooses on trees all of those individuals are not. How is this equal? Can you explain that? The Mr. Bowie Contributed HIS money where he see it fit.
