They have tampered with the nature between a man a woman. A very simple example: Lets say the man is a moron, but cute enough.. Lets say this man actually gets an opportunity to mate or make it with a briliiant woman on a few chance encounters. Pregnancy occurs. Now. he has just moved his genetic profile up the totem pole. BUT, now because most woman are on the pill - chance, luck, and creating desirable offsprring is no longer in the equation for capturing a brilliant woman for a lowly man.

I just saw citizen X a weekly program in CNN IBN which is also available on this link >>>> http://www.ibnlive.com/news/indian-citizenship-on-sale-and-its-for-cheap/46601-3.html please checks this & give your observations. One has to just spend few thousands of rupees & get all those legal documents (passport, driving licence, voter’s I D card, pan card, birth certificate , ration card etc) that will prove his/her Indian Identity even if no such person actually exist. Just imagine how much time you spend in getting all those documents if you follow the usual procedure provided under the law & many a times you face lots of problem getting them. We celebrate our 60th year of Independence & proudly call us Indian, are we really free from the corruption eating our democratic roots ? What we should do about our corrupt Bureaucracy along with corrupt Political system? Wishing You All A Happy 60th Independence Year.

and the social workers are once again pleading overwork and whatever else they can think of.
At what point, when a small child is seen with breaks, bruises, burn marks and malnutrition do they make this a priority, forget bout lunch, paperwork, meetings and do something to save a childs life.

All school systems in all 50 staes would have the same uniform. I've been living in Japan for years and it's been this way forever and it works really well.

I think it will make it easier on the kids and parents in the states. Not all the parents can afford the name brand clothes kids like and kids should be made fun of over clothes.

I think uniforms will make everybody equal and make it fair for everybody. It will give the chance for all different students to interact with eachother and expand their growth. It will prepare kids for the real worl when they get jobs or join the military. It will help with the gang problem by making it hard to distinguish each other.

No it's not un constitutional either, ive heard people say that. If they dont like it then they can get no education and be bums on the street.

I think giving a safe, structured learning enviroment is much more constitutional.

I think the only requirement should be owners of bars and restaraunts should have to post a sign on the entrance saying the are "a smoke friendly establishment" or if not a No Smoking sign. In advertisments they should also specify if they allow somking or not. This will give everyone the freedom of choice.

It`s not fair that the government is making the ban. It should be strictly the owners decision on all policies. He or she is the owner and it`s no different than allowing smoking in your house or not.

NOBODY has the RIGHT to a smoke free bar or restaraunt. If you don`t like smoke you can choose another place to go.

My friend was recently scammed by a guy who was sending her bad checks. It started when her dad told her about this money wiring system and that when you wire the money for that persom you get 14% of the check. Being young she thought it as a great idea so she did it and the first couple came through just fine. The guy contacted her, made friends, and then went for the kill. The next batch of checks came into her account, or so she thought, and she wired hat money to nigeria. The next day she finds out the check bounced and the money she sent ended up being her money and putting her into debt to the bank at $2000. She is now on vacation and has no pay but a car payment coming up. Heres the question, If you know anything about this please can you send me information regarding it and will she ever be able to get her money back? Thank for your time I really appreciate it.

She went back to him and is obviously not thinking straight...Can I do anything about it if she wont press charges against him? Because she called me crying telling me that she had to run out of her apartment and knock on her neighbors doors to get away from him. There is a neighbor as a witness. And i am a witness too because she called me and told me. He is terrible to her and I cant just sit here and watch him kill her.

The employees in Sub registrar offices in India take bribes for almost all the sale deeds. They exploit loopholes in the system and regulations to garner huge money for themselves. We have an independant nation for 60 years. What Governments have done to plug these loop holes and ensure bribe free system. Why do these employees be left free to fleece the public. The information available on the departmental and district web sites is almost nil. Are there some groups who are working in this direction. When our developing country will develop transparent system.

When I applied to become an US citizen the immigration dept ran a FBI background check. Now that I'm applying to get certified as an Emergency Medical Technician by the Los Angeles County, they ran a DOJ background check. Since both are criminal background checks, I was wondering what the difference is between the two? What does one reveals that the other doesn't?

I received many answers telling me McDonald's was my only hope and that I deserved no future for being a criminal. Well, I lost my teaching job only because I opened my mouth and now I am a secretary whose boss knows all about my past and still trusts me with his house, his business, and thousands of dollars cash. Just because I used to drink and got a DUI doesn't make me evil, nor does someone who stole, or bounced a big check or tore a label off a mattress. Thank you to all the people who said, have hope, keep applying. I have a big, 3 bdrm house, my daughter back, a fiance who makes 2 grand a week and new puppy, ferret and 4 birds. My nightmares and memories are mine to deal with but people should be positive and give others hope instead of be mean about it. Life is mean enough. I do deserve what I get, but at times I deserve the good I get too. I just drove over 20 miles to help a complete stranger who needed help late at night. People are basically good, just screwups at times.
