We're not really fighting terrorism -- we're claiming to fight terrorism, but all our resources are going to other projects -- including nation-building and playing umpire in Iraq.

If we were fighting against terrorists, we'd be focusing our efforts on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, where Al Qaeda is based -- not in Iraq, where Al Qaeda didn't even exist until 2004.

We are spending so much time and money in Iraq, that we don't have anything left to address the actual problems that we face at home.

This is a very good question. We check security at airports but yet we have so many walking across the borders and you wonder just who all they could possibly be.
With our borders being so large as with any country though I would guess it would be almost impossible to man every inch of it. One reason for employers to be more responsible in checking who they are hiring and if they are legal or not.
I don't mind legal workers entering our country..its the others that need to be addressed.

Our whole country is a border. You do the best you can in ferreting out those who would harm this country.

If you think you are going to protect all of our borders, to include Alaska Hawaii and Puerto Rico, you are sadly mistaken!

I have never seen such a bunch of lily yellow people who are afraid to give up what you are asking, and have asked , others to give up! Their lives! You afraid of dying for "freedom"?

If you're referring to the illegal Mexicans...They already are, and they're always hiring for border patrol.

If you're referring to the alarming number of middle eastern people that get in here on bullcrap like "student visas," everyone thinks it's politically incorrect to turn people away from the US, even if they could be a potential threat.

Because the people who do that job are in Iraq.

Bring them back.

It's because the "terrorists" are NOT who you THINK they are! Go to cloakanddagger.de and do some reading.
