Pro-Choice - puts a positive spin on killing the unborn
Pro-Abortion - Makes sense if you call Pro-Life - Anti-Abortion
Pro-Death - Hey it is a choice to kill, would also make sense
for those who do not want the death penalty for murders.

Just a curious question.

How would one travel and what would be their resident status?

This all stemmed from a discussion regarding females in the UAE who lose their citizenship if they marry someone who is not a UAE national. What would this person do? Her parents must be UAE locals so she would not have ties to any other country.

I would like to report a lawyer to the Virginia State Bar?
How do I do that.

I am in Utah and I hired a lawyer to handle a warrent I have in Virginia. I told him going out there was impossible and I wanted to find out if there was a way to handle it with a lawyer. I had already researched it. I paid him $1000 and 6 weeks later called him. He told me the exact same things I told him when I first hired him. I wrote an e-mail a few days later asking for an itemized bill. Here is his reply:

Dear Mrs XXX,

"In criminal matters, I do not do itemized bills nor do I work at an hourly rate. All fees are flat quotes as was yours of $2,000.00. You paid me $1,000.00 and I researched and investigated the matter for you. I will accept the $1,000.00 as payment in full and will not refund any monies to you."

How do I report him?

For taxpayers to have to pay for their operations and estrogen! I think this is getting out of hand and a lot of judges today aren't worth a a nickel. Example: that judge that was going to sue a dry cleaner 67 million dollars over his pants! Think of all the money that was used just for that case to get thrown out!

I hear a lot in the news regarding the poor judgment of judges now. Some being downright horrible! Now, keep in mind, I am not saying all judges are bad. But this one about wanting taxpayers to pay for sex changes for the inmates in prison seems too far. Why should, in this case, residents of Idaho have to pay this? I find it wrong, it is showing prisoners having more rights and privileges than that of the free people. I am sure people who choose to do this would want their changes to be paid for, at least they are not criminals in prison. What you think about judges today and having your taxes go towards now inmate sex changes?

my aunt passed away about four months ago. She didn't leave a will, but she had property. Now all of a sudden, three "sisters "have shown up. They are her step sisters but they were never a part of her life. I didn't even know about them. Now they have put everything into probate without telling us. We have a lawyer and were going to do the same, but now its official. What are my rights? do I even have any as her niece? My dad (her brother) died a year ago, so that was my connection to her. I loved her, she brought my family to the US. I don't want her things and her property to be handed to people that are only involved for the money. Help!

A friend wrote me personal checks that I cashed out for them and now I owe $1000. I did it because they lost their bank card and knew they needed money to pay rent. I was wondering if I have any valid legal options. I know he has a warrant for his arrest and has written numerous checks that have bounced(as well as forging other people's)

Please be serious.

does this happen? I assume that even though misdemeanors can sometimes be deportable crimes, it's probably very rare. They probably are more concerned about the really dangerous people who commit felonies, right?.

His father and my schedule are different but the landlord where I live at says he cannot come over everyday. questions. The search was by an FBI agent and a local sheriff's detective. The ID's appeared authentic and thier reason for wanting me to participate in the voluntary search and interview was that my internet usage had been flagged by the FBI as possible child porn trading.

I have no child porn on my system at all and did allow the search for all photos and video.

I was not read any rights other than the right to refuse the interview.

1. Can they use chat logs not on my system as evidence?
2. Would it have been legal for them to leave tracking software on my system?

It's been twice now during the last hour that I try to put a question in "Law and Ethics" about chemical castration for the serial rapists and pedophiles but the questions have both been deleted by the moderator! I don't understand why!
Why can't I ask a question about that?
It's being debated in the UK and in Texas (and probably many other countries or states) as you can see in these articles:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1849316/posts
http://www.texnews.com/texas97/ouch050897.html

And I didn't ask anything weird about it! I just asked what people thought about it!!

If somebody knows the e-mail address of the moderator, please give it to me.
Thank you in advance.

I was staying overnight at a friend's house after drinking when we had an arguement. She told me to get out of her house and chucked all my stuff out. Without thinking, I got in my car and drove and was caught for drink driving. I was twice over the limit. I have held a clean license for 8 years and never been arrested before. Upon arrest I mistakingly admitted that I had been drinking a lot recently and was on tablets for depression as a consequence of my mother's terminal illness. The whole experience has shocked me and I am thoroughly disgusted at what I have done. I have not touched a drink since my arrest and will definately never ever do this again. I am well aware of the minimum and maximum penalities but wondered what is most likely for me? Also I am meant to be travelling to USA on honeymoon next summer and am terrified I will not be able to obtain a visa. There is no way I am going to lie about my conviction as some people have advised... What do you think??

I find divorce laws to be sexist and change. There are many women who benefit by marrying a rich man and living off half his money and child support after a divorce occurs. I think that if our society wants to encourage equality for men and women then this practice should change.
