If you are planning to vote, then I think it is important to make an intellectual decision.
The best way to make an intellectual decision is to gather all the facts.
When it comes elections, the best way to gather facts is to read the paper, listen to the debates, and go see the candidates in person when they visit your town. It doesn't matter if you like the person or not, or whether he is from your party or not. By going, you gain a better understanding of that politicians views and how s/he will represent you. This will help you make the best decision when you go to vote.

I think you should take every opportunity to hear any candidate express himself and his views rather than always hearing little snippets on the news. Hearing a full presentation from the candidate will better help you decide if this is a person you want to support or not.
Go to the event.

By all means go! You will be able to tell your grandkids that you were there when General Obama called for the invasion of Pakistan and Mexico! It should be a hoot!

when any politician sticks his foot in his mouth it is worth seeing for the RL comedy effect. And Obama has been doing an outstanding job of foot in mouth lately.
guess that's why he's now so far behind Hillary in the polls, eh?

If it's not an inconvenience you should certainly go. If it were here in my town I would go out of my way to get there, but if nothing else, he's very entertaining to listen to.

Why would you consider supporting a man that calls for the bombing of Pakistan!? He's AGAINST the Iraq War but wants to start one up in Iran.

Yes, you should go. Then you would be able to give an informed opinion when people ask what you think.

I don't support him but go. Listen to what he has to say and make up your own mind about him. Can't hurt to listen to what he has to say.
