What happens if one loses their citizenship for whatever reason? Where could then ever find citizenship?

Just a curious question.

How would one travel and what would be their resident status?

This all stemmed from a discussion regarding females in the UAE who lose their citizenship if they marry someone who is not a UAE national. What would this person do? Her parents must be UAE locals so she would not have ties to any other country.

In the case where its not over marriage, lets say someone loses their citizenship based on wrongdoing of some sort ...

I guess what I'm trying to find out is if its possible to have no citizenship?

They would apply for residency and eventually citizenship in their husband's country.
