Ok i bought a arcade stick from estarland.com and its the 6th week since i placed my order and they still havent shipped it. Yesterday I called them to cancel my order but they told me it can not be cancelled because it was custom made ( no where on the site has the policy saying you can not cancel orders on custom made items). And then they changed their story also, first saying they were behind then when i said i want to cancel, they said it was already shipped out (which i believe they still havent shipped out). So is this legal?!?!!?

Law means the obligations or circumstances which are to be followed by us as fixed by Central Government or State government or both.

New York state law passed NO cell phone use unless using a hands free device many years ago. What is Florida waiting for???? People are killing themselves and others. Driving like they are heavily sedated, on drugs or drunk. Wreaking havoc on our already dangerous highways and roads.
It should be mandatory in every state. Why do some states have that law for many years and others do not?

therefore, the best way to protect yourself against any assailant is to attack him before he attacks you... or better... before the thought of doing so has even occurred to him, so you may be able to render your assailant unconscious before he is even aware of your very existence

Well, I'm going to answer that, partially, at least. Aside from the pompous self-righteous attitude of your common everyday American, there is the biggest issue. Call it hypocrisy, call it BS, call it whatever you want. It's there.

The United States is the self-titled Humanitarian Nation of the World, spreading freedom, liberty, and justice...Except when it's not.

If you want to look further back, there is, of course, the Native Americans. A little beyond that is the Philippines, and the aftermath of the Spanish-American War.

Or how the United States completely ignores anything the U.N has to stay. Once the United States became the superpower to beat, it became obvious the true intention behind this government. There was a 1972 treaty banning the use of biological weapons and germ warfare. To enforce this law, the U.N made an agreement to allow the search of ALL nations, but of course, the U.S refused to allow any such searches of their arsenals. -Out of space, can't type

Ask some questions:
Legally
Can a minor buy cigarettes
Can a minor buy alcohol
Can a minor vote
Can a minor get a drivers license in all 50 states
Can a minor sign a contract without a parent
Can a minor get married w/o parental consent
Can a minor give sexual consent
Can a minor join the service
We all know that there's more but I think if kids can be charged as adults then they should get all the rights, freedoms and privileges as adults. It's only right or we charge them as juviniles because they are still kids and can be rehabilitated so they can be better adults.

About 6 months ago I had laser surgery. Before the surgery I had to sign papers that the money would come off my back account automatically. This would be a lump some the day before and afterwards monthly.

I did this. I handed it in. They have the permision/documents to take the money off the acount. The problem is that they haven't done this. They havent done anything. I haven't paid for it.

Really I think this is not my responsibility. Do I ethically/morally have to give them a call?

This is my problem I live in a Federaly subsidized housing
supported by The Dept. of Agricultural multiple family housing
and rural development formerly FHA. The manager of the apartments does not know anything about office work and her
husband the Mantience man / manager ( actually does all the
paper work ) does not know anything about mainteance work
he was a tax collector and she was his bookeeper ( does not know anything about paper work ) she stole a bunch of money
from the state put the tax money in the bank under her husband
the tax collectors name ,he took the blame for it and became a convicted felon and that is why she is the manager and he is the mainteance man neither one of them know what they are doing in their supposively job when he screws something up
it is blamed on you for not being right.why does The Department of Agricultural Family Housing and Rural Development let convicted felons and crooks deal
with old people . all government agencys are crooked

Myself and other co-coworkers are expected to work a minimum 10 hours a day, 50 hours a week but we are paid salaried. Our boss tells us we "have" to or we "must" work 10 hours a day. Is this at all legal? I know as salaried employees you tend to always work above and beyond 10 hours but we're often almost 'expected' or 'required.'.....Anyone familiar with wages, please advise or where I can get help.

So my BFF is going thru a divorce and his step daughter told him over the phone some pretty damning things abou the ex-wife. Things that are going on in the home. He has his 6 year old son there living with her and his 2 teenage step-daughters.
On the phone one of the step daughter said the following: thinks the new live-in boyfriend is beating her up (bruises from a cruise they went on together), she smokes pot, takes speed, yells and screams in the house, the kids are afraid for their safety, lets the boy do anything, doesn't watch him. etc.
Here is the hard part... during this phone conversation, he hit record in the middle. Now he has the 17 year old saying these things. Can he use this? Should he use this? What are his options?
His priority is the safety of the kids... what to do?

ADVICE please!!!!

I'm a single mother and my oldest daughter will be starting
3rd grade this year...I am interested in homeschooling her for a number of reasons....the schools that she has been in are academically inept and with the way the youth of today are going...honestly I don't want her around just any child...who I don't know. I am quite capable of handling the responsibilty and am even willing to change the way I make a living so that I will have the day free with my daughters (also have a 2 year old).
Her father didn't give me a chance to really explain myself or how I plan to accomplish this...he just said no. Does he have a leg to stand on? We were divorced when my daughter was 2 and neither ever went to court for her. She spends her time equally between the two and we each support her on our own for the most part. I am her main parent, the one that makes sure that everything for her gets done and handled..big or small. Can he stop me? She is currently in a school under my address
