Hi. Jehovah's Witnesses do not participate in wars or political matters so the bloodshed inflicted by the Iraqi war or any war onto innocent civilians, troops, and other of our brothers and sisters (fellow human beings) worldwide cannot fall accountable to Jehovah's Witnesses.
Did you know over this past weekend, Bush approved another $488Billion for the war in Iraq?? Yet it is going to cost at least $188Billion to repair, renovate, restructure and care for our bridges here in America, but where does the senseless spending go? Over seas to fund a war where nothing but death prevails, and surely no peace whatsoever will prevail. These governments are indeed ruled and influenced by satan the devil and this is why at Armageddon in order for God's heavenly government will rule over the earth as was God's purpose when the earth and mankind, all these worldly, warring and less than "true Christian" governments will have to be destroyed.
Certainly they, these worldly government and all of false religions have never, and don't intend to, bring true peace to mankind throughout the earth. I am not a political person, but Bush is definitely a mad man and the soldiers and their families are getting sick of him and this disabling war. Over this past weekend about 10 more soldiers lost their lives in Iraq due to roadside bombs. Those violent Iraqis, etc., over there will never stop, so why more needless bloodshed. Bush is demon possessed and he doesn't even know it. That's what is truly sad; all of political people are much the same way as Bush. They think they start out good but soon are engulfed in the deceitful, tangled web of corruption, greed, and the need to argue and "be seen".
No, I do not take any personal accoutability (nor do "true" Christians) for the invasion of Iraq and the subsequent destruction brought to so many since the inception of this war. No peace has been brought to ANYONE by means of this war. We have people starving and suffering in our own country that can use the multiple billions and billions of dollars wasted on bloodshed and driven by demon behavior and egos.
I don't really know how much longer I can hold out.

I have been against invading Iraq since the beginning, I have always known in my gut that something was not right about 911 and the bush administration reasoning's for invasions were a farce. I can only be held accountable if I don't speak up and show others the obvious truths.

Other than the "court of public opinion" -- there is no world court that has legal jurisdiction -- each country is a sovereign nation, and accountable only under its own internal laws.
The only other alternative is the use of force -- and very few nations would want to declare a military war with the US.
Even the UN was limited to condemning us verbally for acting on our own as a unilateral attack. Because the UN has no legal authority to mandate action absent consent.
