i think child murder be put to death quickly. in fact i strong support death penalty for murder, child molester, and rape. but since government (american) is so stupid, we cant execute rapist or child molester. but child predator still die i say. government is evil to defending child predator. i bet many are pedophile themselves which is why they defend child predator.

do you agree

In order to be the president you have to be a natural born citizen, however to be a congressman you don't. My question is this, since the speaker of the house is third in line to the president, can a speaker of the house that isn't a natrual born citizen accend to the presidency?

Ok, so I've heard about that wonderful officer dying after being shot in the face. Only 23 years old and it was just a traffic stop. My heart just broke.

However, while I do not, under any circumstances, take away from this tragic event, why is a person who kills an officer is automatically subject to be penalized to the highest extent of the law, but a person who stomps a 17 month baby to death makes his $5,000 bond and walks the same day?

I just don't get it. Someone please explain to me why both of these men should not be penalized to the highest extent of the law?

My heart is aching.............

The defintion of discrimination is, denying a group the same rights or benifits as all the other groups simply because they are of that group. So why is not allowing gays to legally marry (out side of a church, because they can make their own rules) not discrimination?

Why do I have to follow ethical/religious guide lines that only fan up hatred and imped scientific progress? Whats the problem with aborting a literally brainless (lacks a head) featus from a mentally handicapped woman (who knowingly consented to the procedure), and who was raped by a blood relative? The fetus will be used for stem cell research, to better mankind.

Note: this is a hypothetical case as to not have uber-christians firebomb my house, or to violate anyones privacy.

I am a minor, or I am under 18 years of age. I know that many laws do not apply to me because of this. I know that if I were to sign my name to any document it would be void if it were presented in a court setting (I reside in U.S.A.)
I want to go online and fill out some of those surveys that say they will send you free stuff (ipods, and the like). However, all say you must be 18 or older. My question is, because I am under the age of eighteen and I am a minor, can I legally tell the online survey that I am eighteen and not be punished by law?

I'm from Europe, and I have always had the perception that drug abusers tend to be punished rather than treated in the United States.

I was wondering, what would the immediate consequences be for, let's say an 18 year old, who is caught with a joint on his person? Are we talking jail time, and then probation, or treatment, counseling, etc?

If that same person was caught with a very hard drug, like "crystal meth" (I don't know what it is, just that it's very strong), would the case be different?

In Sweden, you are usually not punished per se, but required to take urine tests for a while, see a counselor and show that you are staying away from drugs and criminality.

Also, and finally, which way do you think work the best? Throw an 18 year old in jail, or have him (or her!) treated?

Thanks for your input!

Where can I find forms for that? What steps should a teen take? I want to help someone who is in an extremely bad situation, living with several unrelated families and single men in her mother's apartment.

I already know about child protective services. I am asking specifically about the process to become an emancipated adult. Thanks for your help!

How can a repeated sex offender/child molester get bailed out of jail, but a person who went to jail for fighting once in self defense can't? I've seen people in both scenarios & the child molesters get bailed out every time, but this one girl I know got into a fight & she's not getting bailed out. What's up with that?

I'm in college studying political science and I think I'd like to be an attorney. Many people in my family are/were attorney's and I think it is what I was made to do. However I'd sorta like a life too . Do all lawyers work 16 hour days and weekends? I'm not particularly interested in becoming hugely rich, it'd be nice, but having a life and family is nicer.

Is there legal work available thats not......all consuming? Are most lawyers generally successful no matter where they work? Are there poor lawyers (financially, ha)?
