I recently sold an item on ebay and the buyer decided that he didn't like the item and put a false claim into paypal for return of his money. Paypal granted him his money stating that I only said it was used not gently used or some other special word they wanted to hear. I would love to sue the crap out of paypal for going against what an auction is all about. If someone is buying something, they can ask a question about the item. Its used for god sakes. Has anyone sued paypal yet?

My brother is getting divorced & wanted me to post this question. First off he told his lawyer he didn't want anything out of the divorce, no division of anything, he justs wants it to be over. Well the lawyer sent him all the paperwork to sign & after reading over it he noticed one part that said the he prays to obtain equal division of all properties. He called the lawyer before he signed it & she stated it was a formality and his soon to be ex-wife would get the real copy. To him this didn't make sense. Would it be correct to say that he should be signing the same paperwork his wife gets? Also what is a formality? Thanks.

I'm curious what people on Yahoo Answers tend to think about firearms. So here are a few questions:

1. What are your views on gun ownership? (hunting, in-home self defense, concealed carry, etc.)
2. What do you think of the current gun laws? Do you know what the guns laws are in your state/country?
3. What is your level of knowledge & experience with firearms?
4. What is your age & gender?
5. Where do you live (what country)?

I worked for a very strange company, their security code was 666, they have not paid me, they say I took the building key and want £250 from me for changing the locks, I say that is not true and want my wages. We have been to court twice already, 1st time was a preliminery hearing, they knew it was prelim, we didn't. 2nd time they did not turn up, the judge was aggressive to me for no reason and said my letter from a witness should have WITNESS STATEMENT at the top, therefore it was invalid. So he set another date. I then receive a letter saying the opposition has been reinstated "ex-parte".
They told me when I was working for them that they Freemason connections and NEVER loose a court case. The judges certainly seem biased, plus the opposition being re-instated, plus the judges being aggresive towards me, and making funny signs and smiling to them. WHAT ON EARTH DO I DO?

This is a defense used to acquit woman who murdered their abusive husbands when their husbands are not armed. However if a man is threatened at gunpoint by his neighbor and shoots his neighbor who is unarmed he is going to prison for first degree murder. So why is it that this defense is only used for women and not men in other circumstances where they feel their life is in danger?

We are taking a short holiday to Canada in a couple of weeks(we live in Ohio). I have a 12 year old step son. We get him regularly. I know we need our birth certificates to leave ( I know passports next year), but do we need anything notorized from his mother letting us take him across the boarder. I know we don't need her permission to leave the state, we just have to provide her the information on where we will be and a way to reach us, but do we need her permission to leave the country? She went to Canada a few years ago and didn't get my husband's OK, but she does have primary custody. I wasn't sure if that mattered or not.
Thanks

Or between eating a cat and eating a bunny? Basically, in ethical and logical terms, what justification is there to consider some animals food and others pets or simply non-food? What credibility is there to an Animal Welfare Act that allows atrocities to be commited against cows, pigs, chickens and so many more that would be considered criminal and barbaric if commited against cats or dogs?

Recently my mom's neighbor called the cops on her for cutting down a bush that was on the property line...they agreed on cutting it down but not on what to do with the brush. I was amazed they even called the police, but I was there to help with the work when the police showed up...by that time there was a lot of yelling and verbal abuse going on and I asked the officer to have everyone go to their homes and let me just take the brush away in peace instead of having everyone work together and he told me to shut up and stay out of it or he would arrest me!

Hi, I'm a foreigner who is living in Mumbai for 2 month.

I bought Airtel pre-paid SIM card 2month ago and I used without problem for 1 month.(I submitted my passport, company ID, Employment Visa invitation letter from Indian company etc.)

After 1 month later, I recharged Rs.3000 into my SIM card.
But, around 3 weeks ago, Airtel suddenly permamantely disconnected my number without any notice with my balance of Rs. 2500.

I complained about this and Airtel told me that My document which I've submitted was not enough to maintain my number.

Ok!(I accepted their reason, even if I work for very big Indian company an my all documents are came from that company)
And I asked them about my remained balance Rs. 2500
But, they told me that they cannot give my balance back to me also. I went Airtel customer care office for several times( this also costs around Rs.1000 and I spend whole day for this complain), But their answer is always same.

How can I figure out this problem? Thank

Considering the constant modern day terrorist threats and attacks should the Government be issuing provocative Knighthoods to anyone who caused so much hatred around the world, do we need to remember that book?

Even if he deserved an Honour Is one man worth a knighthood when many innocent people could now suffer in a terrorist counter attack?

It does not make sense to me, no thought seems to have been given to the consequences of giving a Knighthood to him in particular.

Personally, I say either give the death penalty, life in prison without the possibility of parole, or castration. Slice it off so it can't hurt anyone anymore.

As an addition to two of my other questions that are currently predominating my spare time,if the power company has problems with the people they are contracting power from on the high side supply transformer and are changing fuses (to which they admit when my father called), switching the power on and off for the entire region, and a person -my father- witnesses the result (the tower jumping, crackling and sparking) and then calls to inquire and it is verified that they are doing maintenance at the substation, can the power company be held liable for damages to the computer (motherboard, processor, power supply, hard drive and supplies used to recover data)? The power co.'s liability department/HR person wrote a letter stating that this had occurred, but that they are not responsible for the "act of god" caveat or other variations (pretty much anything). I'm maintaining that I think it was their maintenance not some unforeseen or unpredictable acts.

I said no, but he kept insisting that he was going to be on MTV and BET next month and stuff. He looked like a rapper so i just paid him 10 bucks b/c he was annoying me. When i went home, i realized that the CD was blank and i was a victim of this idiot's fraud. the ten bucks is not really a big deal for me, but i dont want this moron to continue to defraud people. What can i do?
