I recently sold an item on ebay and the buyer decided that he didn't like the item and put a false claim into paypal for return of his money. Paypal granted him his money stating that I only said it was used not gently used or some other special word they wanted to hear. I would love to sue the crap out of paypal for going against what an auction is all about. If someone is buying something, they can ask a question about the item. Its used for god sakes. Has anyone sued paypal yet?

Not that I am aware of. Paypal has a nasty habit of siding with buyers - I have fallen foul of this too :( Your only consolation is that the buyer lost £15.00 of his money to Ebay/Paypal for doing what he did.

Resell the item and move on - believe me, its the only way.

In early 2002, Plaintiffs Roberta Toher and Jeffrey Resnick filed separate lawsuits against PayPal, Inc. These two cases were later consolidated into one lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.

The lawsuit alleges, among several other issues, that PayPal has placed inappropriate restrictions or other limits on customers' accounts and engaged in several other improper practices. Based on these improper practices, the lawsuit sought damages for money unjustly held, negligence, and violations of consumer protection statutes.

Rather than dealing with a lengthy public trial and being forced to clean up their act, PayPal decided to settle out of court and pay $9.25 Million Dollars to Tens of Thousands of PayPal merchants who processed with PayPal between October 1, 1999 and January 31, 2004.

Ebay/Paypal have a monopoly over the web public sale industry. in case you like a bite of this industry, you waive all your common rights to apply their service. The technicality that enables them to do regardless of they want alongside with you cash is the actuality that paypal isn't an respectable "economic business enterprise" and for this reason does not ought to obide with the aid of US banking regulations. this is kinda like ebay's nazi banking equipment. they are able to and could do regardless of they want alongside with your $ with out reason or clarification. particular, you are able to open your person internet site with a diverse variety of universal money, yet you lose all of their industry. so which you would be able to the two sell alot below their rules or sell a sprint below your person rules, this is a double edged sword.

Please, be very careful with Paypal, they hijack customer's money so they can day-trade it and put the profit in their own pockets. So they usually use "Money on hold" or "suspicious activities" as an excuse to use their customer's money.

Please check this out, and please notice that they advertise another product. Since I don't know this product and I don't know anyone who does you should distrust it too.
