I took a friend to park, paid and tickets signed a Voucher Receipt and Park Conditions”. I did not, but had he read this form, he would have notice that it contained a general exclusion clause, fully disclaiming legal liability for any injury or loss to Park visitors.

My friend was injured when a wooden post fell onto his shoulder.

i wonder whether the exclusion clause will provide an effective defence against his action in negligence against the Park.

I know doctors and nurses can pronounce someone dead...
But are paramedics, police, and/or firemen allowed to pronounce someone dead if they find the person DoA or the person dies in transit to the hospital?

Why is it that the loonies and the goonies don't know the difference between Bush's limiting stem cell research to five lines and the universal opinion of the scientific community that this is not adequate. Is it because their mid evil minds don't know the difference so they just follow their glorious leader, or is it because they have found their own answers reading the magic of the goat droppings.

Think about it, if health insurance was illegal hospitals/doctor's offices wouldn't charge outrageous amounts of money for relatively simple and easy proceedures. Since the majority of Americans have health insurance, health practices can change whatever they want since the insurance companies are paying most of the bill. The result is higher premiums/co-pays and a spiral that will eventually lead to unaffordable health care. We need a solution, such as 20 dollar clinics where the health institution only takes cash and no insurance, for one example. American health care is top of the line in the world, yet if nothing is done, no one will be able to afford it.

I'm wondering if your government has a effective plan that helps or supports surviving family members of convicts executed for various reasons (capital murder, rape, etc); specifically, spouses who are about to become widowed, and children who are about to lose a parent or become orphaned due to capital punishment.

If you do have a plan or legal procedure, what is it? If not, are you currently putting one into effect or planning to develop one in the near future?

Why should inmates have all the luxuries in prison, such as TV, exercise area, etc? Do you think that if prison was harder, it would be more of a deterrant for people to commit crimes? Why should our tax dollars pay for all the "extras?"

I did a college paper that showed Ohio spends an average $67/day per inmate and LESS than $4/day per child for Early Childhood Education. One prison in Ohio spent over $800/day per inmate...come on!! Who of us makes $800/day!

Sex is the basic need of any human being. Everyone knows that. Those who are deprived of it, prostitution comes as a mean to get it. Almost every country in the world doesnt approve it whereas individually everyone wants it. Your take on it?

This idiot Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr posted a blog on this website:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/1714645/posts

Now I know that lots of idiots are out there posting idiodic things but I think this one takes the cake. He says that it is unconstitutional to make drunk driving illegal. That the person hasnt commited a crime yet so they are being covicted because of the probability of getting into an accident.

My question is what do you think of this?

I personally feel that punishment should be much more extreme. When you get into a car drunk you are taking everyone on the roads life into hands. A person doesn't have the right to risk mine or my childs life. I think drunk drivers should be jailed on the first offense for at least 6 months and lose their license for 1 year after that. Then if they get a second offense they should be brought up on attemted murder charges for each person they passed on the road (if that number can be determined)

My uncle might be forced into being put in a retirement home if his foot does not get better and he can "prove" that he can live on his own.He is 76. I am the executor of his will and I am wondering if I have him liquidate his assets now and the family stores his money in a bank so the convelecent home does not have access to it,if this is legal. After all it is his money but if he has to stay in home I am sure they will use up all his estate and then Medicare will kick in..Is this legal to "give" his money away to family so old folks home wont be able to take it all if he can't get out?He says it is just like living in prison with out the bars on the windows.I regret that oldness is wasted on the elderly.I sure don't look forward to growing old..
