The kids are all hyped about the trip and the trip is paid for and i cannot get a refund ($2000). What should I do here. I know he is using his power ( shared custody) to not do it, but he isnt hurting anyone but the kids. And of course my pocket. It has taken me 9 months to pay for this. What should i do and will taking him to court do me any good. If court is the option what can can i do ( i cant afford an attorney at such short notice)

Copyrights, or "all rights reseved" sound like there are plenty of them. So, what are they? And how important are they for books' authors & distributers?

I would like to get my stepchild removed from her biological mothers care. If that is even what you want to call it. The mother is unfit.
She has a 4 year old girl who has had lice since July of 2006 (for one man).
Then her 1 year old has been catching lice from the sister since 11 months and I have to take care of it(for my hubby).
Then she has another baby but it's a boy that is 3 1/2 months old fo another man(that's right... she got pregnant for another man about a month after giving birth to my stepchild).
Her inspection sticker is over due by 6 months.
Her house is nothing but filth.
I have tried informing social services and the sheriffs department but nothing can be done about her being so neglectful to her two girls. Should I just sit back and do nothing? I have no rights to these children. But I wish I could give them a future.

My car is in the shop and I had to borrow a friends car to catch a flight at the airport. My friend had just used the car the same morning & said he left soda & water in the cooler. What he neglected to tell me is his dirty chewing tobacco / spit cup was on the dash.

I was in traffic and mistook the tobacco-spit cup sitting on the dash for a soft drink and took a big gulp. I started choking and had to stop and call 911 for medical help.

As you can imagine, I missed my flight. I hold my friend directly responsible for being a slob and leaving that cup on the dash. I insist he forks over the $250 penalty for missing the flight & the $100 co-pay for the medical attention. He is not cooperating much. Do I have a good case if I take him to small claims court?

My daughter is suffering from this can any one out there help me. I have court docs to prove my side, he just keeps adding more lies and more lies and the court allows him to do it. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!

Many democrats, living in their drug-induced fantasies, have cited bogus statistics stating that it is safer not to own a gun rather than to own one. What do you think Barbara Boxer/Hillary Clinton/Charles Schumer (put in any other democrat who robotically repeats this drivel here) would say about gun ownership to this young woman:

http://www.cnn.com/2007/LAW/03/26/accuser.slain.ap/index.html

"Authorities say her killer was the same man who had raped the 20-year-old woman, nicknamed "Molly," nearly 2 years earlier. They said he had threatened her family, and finally slashed her throat to keep her from testifying against him at his upcoming trial."

About 3months ago I decided to cut off my best friend after she started doing drugs (esctasy, weed, coke, etc.) and started becoming verbally abusive towards me and my husband.
I was a few months pregnant and I felt she needed help and being in my situation it was a hard thing to do but the best for my family.
After I told her I dont want to talk to her anymore, she basically went insane: calling, text messaging, hacking into my emails to see what i was doing, harassing my friends, etc.
This has continued for 3months!! I changed my numbers and we happened to move a few miles away but the emails dont stop. And they have gone from harrassing to threatening me. She has told me she hopes me and my child die and has said she cant wait to see me on the streets one day.
I know i can file a restraining order but they take alot of time and paperwork and i was wondering if I could do anything NOW?!

If it's so easy for advertisers to place their spyware on our computers, then it must be equally easy for the Feds to do it. I'm beginning to feel like Winston Smith in Orwell's "1984." Does anyone else feel the same? From tele screens to mouses, keyboards, and computer screens. Whatever happened to our Constitutional right to privacy? How do others feel about this? Any comments?

When one is admitted into hospital, there is usually a file of your medical notes and history on the table. Are patients allowed to look at this? We were told that it was hospital policy not to allow patients to look at them but that we would have to apply in writing for a copy - but surely it should be a right for the patient to look at their own notes?
