A lot of people seem to have strong opinions about thins they know very little about. Perhaps for some it is preferred to see things in black and white. I just want to know why people jump to conclusions without knowledge to back it?

"Things" I was vague because people seem to do this with all subjects. Some controversially examples would be mentioning a conspiracy or something about history that is in conflict with modern teaching. Like Columbus or even a fair education on the Indians.

If you provide a logic that appears to clash with someones beliefs, rather than putting it to the test they will condemn it.

Love to answer Matt--but I will need examples first. Then I can draw conclusions from the references which back your statement.

But the short answer is: emotion. Many subjects hit an emotional nerve and people draw conclusions before they know all the facts.........case in point....Duke Lacrosse rape charges. Many hung these players out before any investigation was done. Many more convicted the 'victim' because she was a stripper. Just depends on your viewpoint.
