Situation as follows: In my view, I regret to admit that I had a heated verbal exchange with a member of staff at my workplace. There may have been what might have been misconstrued as verbal violence but it certainly wasn't physical. However, the staff member, who I won't name, told my boss via another colleague that she felt threatened, and put in a complaint against me.
Regrettably, I had another exchange with a different staff member today at lunchtime, although this time there was no heated confrontation, merely a frank exchange of views.
I then felt forced to deliver an extra snack to a ward at the clinical institution where I work. Regrettably, again I used inappropriate language to express my frustration, thinking I was saying it only to myself. I called them "greedy twats" because they had been kicking off like this for over a week, and I'd had enough.
Unfotunately, they overheard and 2 of them complained. The company's response? Suspension without warning. Legal or illegal?

If democracies and their subsequent governments are supposed to represent the population with their policies and actions, then why are there not more referendums for the "bigger" issues, like Crime, Immigration, The death penalty, Abortion, Euthenasia, Defence Force Actions etc.?

And additionally, could the internet not be used to save time?

in reading the housing law advice given to the LA i noticed that they are told that in order to claim a claiment guilty of forming a contrived tenancy they must first find that the tenancy is of a commercial nature. i wonder if this is accurate? i assume there must be proven intent to fraud the HB scheme by forming the contrived tenancy and if the tenancy is contrived it must be for commercial reasons. if the tenancy contrived for personal reasons do both parties need to gain from this? assuming that the tenancy was created to abuse the scheme then money would be the reasons for this....help its so confusing.

Another debate I have, and even though I'm for active euthanasia, I must debate against it. My main points consist of religion, and hope. Another point that I try to encorporate is that according to the physicians code of ethics, mercy killing is not permissible. Basically for both PVS patients, and Brain dead patients should be kept alive as long as possible, whether they want to live or not, because as human beings we're not allowed to kill.

I can already predict some of the contradictions, but bring them on, I want to see what I might be facing, and please no answers saying how you agree with me, I only want people to contradict me. Do your best and thank you for your time.

My cousin lives in California.
She was transfered from here when her job asked her to move and it all seemed like a good opportunity for her.
Since then they (the company) downsized and it left her in a financial mess.
She fell behind on her rent this month (first time in almost 2 years) and by the 10th, the landlord changed the locks with her belongings inside.
When she tried to see if the police would at least let her get her clothes, they said it was a civil matter and it would have to be handled in court.
The family has wired her money to stay at a motel for a few days and she plans on driving back to Ohio to live with relatives.
Can a landlord just take her stuff like that? It amounts way more than what she owed in rent.

I don't know if anyone else saw the news item about the group of boys who stole vehicles in Winnipeg and ran over a jogger? Two of them were 16 years old and one was 13 years old. The 13 year old is already suspected of stealing cars in a seperate incident. The news item stated that the boys would probably escape jail time and that the 13 year old was at home already. Isn't it time that these young hooligans were treated with the same gloves as older criminals? Why should a 13 year old get away with severely injuring someone when 5 years later he is considered old enough to answer for his crimes. I am sure if these kids faced the same penalties that adults do for these crimes that there would be a lot less of this. The kids on the streets are ruining the society we live in by doing what they want when they want. It's time the government changed this. I don't see how a 13 year old wouldn't know that running down someone in a vehicle is not wrong!!

I was in active treatment with a psychiatrist. The doctor put me on medications and i was seen by this person for quite some time. The doctor received a phone call from a person claiming that i was "abusing my medications".The doctor would not disclose the identity of the caller, but i suspect it was a friend or family member with some sort of vendetta against me.I asked the doctor about the identity of the person and all they would say is "it was a reliable source".In any case, the doctor refused any further treatment, and dropped me from the patient roster based on heresay.I also denied the allegations. Is this patient abandonment? I researched the term and found that a doc could be legally liable at least in a civil proceeding if they drop you without-1.A resonable amount of time to find a new doc (1 month) and a plan to do so or illegal activity which was not the case.keep in mind I was also on medications that could cause withdrawls and in some cases death if stopped abruptly.advice??

I can envisage, in the future, people who have suffered as a result of global warming attempting to sue oil companies, power companies and even the governments of industrialised nations, perhaps for negligence in the way that they have continued to emit global warming gasses after the link between emissions of carbon and global warming became generally accepted or at least accepted as likely.

Is this possible? Will they win? What are the consequences?

he also never served in the military (deferments) but says it should be state and federal law that my children say the prayer of allegiance in school and all homes fly American flags on national holidays, even though he is NOT a homeowner.

He also wants an ammendment to our Constitution defining marriage, even though he himself has never been married.

Even though it is biologically impossible for him to carry a fetus to term and give birth, he wants the federal government to rule over a woman's body and her reproductive rights.

On Sunday's, he can be found swilling beer on his boat out at the lake - he hasn't been to a church in years, but still wants the words "in god we trust" on his money and the ten commandments on display in public buildings.
He also wants it to be federally mandated that "christmas" is used instead of "xmas", and that creationism is taught in our public schools instead of science.

ain't that America?
