In a civilized society, there is no humane way of executing someone. When lethal injection was first instituted, it was touted as being humane. Come to find out that it can cause excruciating pain and other problems. If the general anesthetic (which wears off quickly anyway) wears off before the final chemical is injected, severe pain results. Unfortunately, it is impossible for witnesses to the execution to tell the person is in pain because there is usually a second drug injected after the anesthetic which paralyzes the person (to make it more suitable for witnesses to watch). Thus, there is no way of telling whether they are awake and aware of the pain. When it was first introduced, people thought it was like putting a dog to sleep. Obviously, it's not. In fact, some of the drugs used in some states in lethal injection are banned for use in euthanizing animals. Also, the people administering the chemicals are undertrained and have no medical training at all (since doctors are prohibited from participating in an execution).

As you can tell, I am against the death penalty. It does not work as a deterrent (as evidenced by rising crime rates) and does nothing to better society. Also, many times, there is no way of making sure you have the right guy. It is a punishment that cannot be taken back when you find out that someone else committed the crime.

No, yet possibly the Islamic states ought to fee a value instead of doing them freely. That way in case you may't have the funds for it, you do not get finished. Golly gee, that's a dandy idea. Compute what it expenditures to carry an execution and international huge if the man'S GROSS worth can't hide it, they ought to not be finished. Why ought to the TAX PAYERS pay the bill. The inmate ought to pay their personal way. Now Saddam, he might want to have the funds for an execution. So might want to Jeffrey Daumer. Donald Trump more beneficial useful not in any respect dedicate a capital offense or he's in severe problem! we ought to always take the a million cent in line with registration code they receives a fee and positioned it right into a have self assurance fund and at the same time as that's sufficiently vast to hide the fee of the execution then we do it, in the different case we do not! i imagine that's an amicable answer!

I would prefer hanging best of all. Exit, the group who advise people on pleasantest ways of killing yourself, are full of praise for cyanide, funnily enough. If execution is on the cards would allow the ones marked for the big drop to have a diy execution.
Have had a second thought, about car exhaust as reasonable form of extermination. Do not recommend execution by automobile as practised in all countries of the world with various degrees of enthusiasm.

Send them to Irak....

There should not be a death penalty at all.
We should worry about preventing people from our society to stop being to violent. We should analyze, investigate why people commit crimes, we should rationalize.

-We should create temp programs to help those in need, and train them to help others.
-Make sure every kid in our society has a stable home and is protected.

We penalize the executor but never look back and see the big cancer eating our society. People without health care, education, a stable home. Violence on media... so much bureaucracy and drug dealer/users are our role models...
It takes a 10 years to execute someone, about a million dollars to carry it and that is rising everytime.

I'm totally in favor of the Death Penalty an eye for an eye. Humane way of doing it who cares!! I mean really if you kill someone on purpose do you think that they even for one second thought about their victim that way. Noway no how I feel they have a debt to society and they must pay it!! That is the problem with the Judaical system your too soft on criminals. Who the hell gives a crap I say stone them to death!!!

There has been some talk of using nitrogen asphyxiation, but it has not been used. This involves have the person breathe pure nitrogen. The human body is already use to breathing nitrogen (the air you breathe is made up of 80% nitrogen) so your body would not go into "shock". You just would not get the oxygen you need. Much like carbon monoxide. And, there is effect with releasing it into the atmosphere.

I think that if somebody is given the death penalty in the first place, then I personally don't care how it is carried out. But if you need a humane answer, I think that they should continue with lethal injection because it seems it would be the least amount of torture.

i think if you have to kill a person via death penalty then the best way is the needle its fast efficient and doesn't give any body pain, but i hear the guillotine was also very humane dispite the fact that the head gets chopped off.
