I have two questions,

ONE - do the Indonesian judicial system use juries at all in any types of cases??

TWO - when you arrive in Bali is it true that there are signs saying not to bring drugs into or smuggle drugs from Bali or you will get the death penalty etc???

Thanks

My father is the oldest of 3 and did not get on with his family - the reason so pathetic i feel ashamed for him. i never knew my gran or grandad and they never knew me.

I have been researching our family tree and found out that my granfather died in 2001 and my granmother in 2002. I actually wrote to my uncle in 2002 after finding his address from the electorol roll (not knowing my gran had died) and he did not reply.

Knowing that the other part of my family does not wish to talk to me, how can i find out if my father has inherited any money/property?

thanks

seeing as many governments may think it unwise to let their citizens own weapons of mass destructions (that's obvious enough)
but is there any actual laws in any nations of the world saying you can't own one
and if there are, are there restrictions to it
such as less then 25 pounds of plutonimiuim
or something like that
some wanted to know

I was booked as a photographer for someones event. They decided not to pay me, for their own personal reasons (Mostly because I took longer than they would have liked to get the photos to them).

I now have a bunch of photos of this person, his family, etc. which demonstrate my work as a photographer.

Am I legally allowed to show the photographs (i.e. on my website?) even though the client doesn't want me to?

He hasn't paid for them, do I own the rights?

Hope someone can help, or even better point me towards a legal website where I can find some text to support my position.

Many thanks in advanced.

Ravi

I worked for about 2 years for this company, they hired me on the spot and I did not sign any applications or documents (just filled out a tax form). On the 1st year working there I noticed how easy and simple the business was and I was able to learn everything and decided to start my own business doing the same thing. I bought a domain and designed the website but did not apply for any license. Then 4 months "before" I quit I got my business license and made my first sale "outside" of work. It's been almost 9 months since I quit and my business has been doing very well. Now my old boss recently found out about my business and is now threatning to sue me. Any advice from a lawyer or anyone will be helpful.

Few days ago I happened to order a pair of colored contact lenses.I told him that I want plain hazel shade and he showed me the catalogue and I selected one and paid advance. Now that he called me and asked me to collect it.When I went and saw,it's having kind of double shade and some star like designs on it.I did not like it and now that he forces me to buy it as I have ordered. He never told me before that it will have stars.I dont want it.What should I do.Is there any consumer law to protect a citizen in this citizen?
The lens costs 2000Rs and 100Rs advance paid.

The company I am with now has recently changed their policy to include everyone has to have their shirts tucked in at all times. The clothing I wear is all within the rules they have stated - white shirt, black or khaki pants - but I feel uncomfortable, emotionally not physically, wearing my shirt tucked in, because I am overweight. I have just been told that if I don't tuck my shirt in, then I have to be wrote up. If I get wrote up 3 consecutive times in one month for the same "offense", then I receive a schedualed day off without pay. I can't see how this can be considered fair in the workplace. By the way, my work place is a convenience store!

In other words, you can't retroactively change the laws and possible rewards/punishments.

It is a legal principle. What is it called?

He has a 3/4 year history of mental illness. He has been hospitalized twice. Diagnosed with Major Depression disorder with pychotic, homicidal, suicidal tendensies. Although he can go for months at a time as though he is fine. When he snaps he disengages with reality. I do beleive he needs to be confined for his crime. My question is can he be confined where he is also being treated agressivly without the option of signing a AMA to get out.

I looked up my estranged husband on people search.com. It listed all the property he/we have had plus one unfamiliar one in Florida. Below his name, it gave an alias of another man's name I have never heard before. Any Private Investigators or lawyers tell me what this could mean please -- a mistake maybe?
