lane belongs to all 4 house,but person who does not own property in lane is trying to establith right of way.

I presume he wants to use it as a through-route. If it's a private lane, he cannot without your permission. You can either give permission or not. You should in the first instance check with the Land Registry whether the lane is actually private, as it might be classed as a public thoroughfare.

It will show clearly in the deeds of the various properties the right of use or way each person has over a particular area. No one can change that but a court and even a court can't do that without informing the other people using that right of way. If someone starts to fence off a right of way inform the local authority immediately. If you are still worried drop into your local planing department and see an enforcement officer.

Lesroy is Right check the land registry office, you can do this on the Internet or write asking for a plan of the site and proof of the right of way. Sorry don't have the address.

Get a lawyer.
The person may have the right to use the lane if it is established as an easement.
Easements can be established from continuous usage with tacit approval from the owner.

if you go to the courthouse to get a copy of the map of your land some times there are right of ways threw a persons property if there isn't any way to get to there property some times right of ways could be a hundred years old that a previous owner has agreed to you should be able to get that info from the courthouse to, to make it legal or illegal

just check your deeds and if its a right of way this person has the right to use it! so do that before you start to wield the big stick
