Many people have been unfairly denied any compensation what so ever by the Govt, for being given Hepatitis CNHS blood transfusions.
For years legal buffers have been created around the whole issue of natural clearers with no thought what so ever as to the fact that this disease has already claimed the lives of over 1,000 people already and with clever rhetoric and legal buffers to not allow the criteria to be challenged!
Now sadly Anita Ruddick has also been told she has Hepatitis C so the awareness is there again...what about ordinary people whose lives were shattered by being given Hepatitis C perhaps the Govt feels it would be better we had all died so as to avoid compensating us?
Who would have ever thought that in a country that champions fights against injustices that many of our own are treated so shabbily.
This Govt has a moral and financial obligation to us all in that we were all NHS patients who were given a killer disease so they should compensate us all fairly

If I owned a bar, and if I wanted to, I would ban NON-Smokers from both working and partaking of my services. Sounds to me like that is the right of the business owner, not the non-smoker or the government. What are your thoughts and please, try to make some sensible argument that grants people who have NOTHING invested in something, making the rules?

They do not pay into the system and yet use all the facilities that they can blag free. Most of our local travellers have new and expensive vehicles and do not pay income tax. Why not offer the council land to a traveller at a commercial price and they can be responsible for letting it on council approved terms to other travellers? This would provide an income to the normal taxpayer, instead of us funding them. Also, the owner would be responsible for site cleaning , maintenance and adherence to societies rules applicable to the rest of us on our properties. Rent can be collected by this traveller "landlord" for his own profit and income tax would be charged to him. Class this as a think tank coz I know that many problems would need to be overcome, but is this the way forward? Immediate eviction should take place when they park on land that is not theirs and any cost needed to restore the area should be taken from them.

given the fact that many LEGITIMATE sportsmen had their Hand Guns removed, due to a change in the law. Would the Gov. start legalising hand Guns again? After all., it's the criminals that are using them illegally NOT us sportmen.

I think if you want to devlop our country dont make any flyover or any good complex but just abloish this illegaly thing which is happening in our country.bcoz if we will stop this things we will autometically make a better life style of the public. I had even seen some Shiv Sena people stoping public to celebrating Valentine Day But do they have a gutts to stop all this thing .

Why does our system let known sex predetors out of jail to harm more children. From what i understand that is an illness that cant be cured! If their going to let them out they should have to put sex offender on their D.L. like they tag D.L. when you get a D.U.I. It seems to me our system is about money. Not protecting us long term from known harm! I guess iam bitter because a child was killed by a repete offender! In the same week a man was busted with drugs. The man with drugs (first offense) recived higher fines and more charges than the man who took a young childs life! Why?

I am handing in papers to the department of immigration (DIMIA) and they require certified copies of passports and statutory declarations from relevant people (including myself). As all my paperwork was previously done abroad, I don't know where / how to get these papers certified / validated here in Australia. Does one just walk into a police station and ask for their signatures? Or a post office?

I am currently in a rented property and recently the hotwater has been playing up for nearly a month. Our house is managed by an estate agent so they have to fix it. However we pay our rent straight to the landlord, although the estate agents holds 1and a half months rent as deposit. We are considering witholding a months rent. Are we allowed to do this? and would they be allowed to take it out of the deposit?
