That number seems unusually high. I found this website that says the U.S. has 70% of all lawyers in the world, although it doesn't cite any source for that statistic. http://www.power-of-attorneys.com/are_there_too_many_lawyers.htm Hope that helps!

Hahaha, not sure if that's true or not, but I did read a statistic about 4 years ago that stated, "there was one lawyer for every 4 people in the United States". I'm sorry that I can't remember the source only the quote.

Yes, but they're homegrown and organic. We're not exploiting trade inequities to acquire attorneys from overseas.

Seriously, it wouldn't surprise me. I've heard that one in 500 Americans is a lawyer.
