My birth certificate states that I have no father (it has a bunch of Xs). Through Accurint.com, I've found his social security number and address and home telephone number. He resides in Edgewater, Volusia County, FL. I reside in Buffalo, Erie County, NY. and I am a 21-year-old male university student. My mother and I have not received any child support from him at all. He left when I was born and my mother did not know his social security number, just his previous address and that he moved to the state of Florida. I believe that he will have to submit to a paternity test in order to prove that he is indeed my father. How can I go about ordering this via court? What is the next step that I need to take now that I have all this information on him? Thank you!

I am an artist, and I want to do some Pop Art style images (such as Andy Warhols 'Campbells Soup' image) as well as images of people such as David Beckham whose actual image may be considered a brand. I am not sure if I am restricted in this with regards to the brand owners. Can you help?

I do not understand what their body parts have to do with their judgment?! Plus, this way we are discriminating against asians and other minority judges... It seems just wrong, but we keep hearing all the time of those "hung" juries... WHY?

You know India is demacratic system with too many religions and sub religions, castes and so on. It is also set of states on longuage basis, who keep disputing for geographical borders, resources like water, electricity, and so on. The election system is rotton, in the sense, spend crores in elections and earn after a win. Power Play is predominent with all political parties. You know the voting percentage is about 50% and winning candidate may actual get 20% of votes only to rule 100 % of population. Because of political backing basic problems like population explosion is not takled properly among all religions, which is contirbuting to poverty, illeteracy and other related problems. Problems like hartal, bandh, stone throwing, killing innocent common people in explosions, etc are fully encouraged by political parties, when they are not having power both at district, state and central levels.

Under such situation how we can think of unity among Indians to fight for the right way ?

Has a registered sex offender ever shook off the chains of the scarlett letter and become a succesful and productive member of society? I am not talking about the ones who fail to register and skate by on anonymity or the people who become advocates.

I am in law school and doing part 2 of a research paper on sex offenders.

Please cite where you found your information and ---

If you are a registered sex offender with a positive outcome, that would be a bonus.

I have claimed my son every year. After his mother and I broke up, we both claimed him on our '05 taxes. I didn't know that she claimed him until I got a letter in the mail saying that I'm being audited. My son lived with me 7 months out of that year until a custody order went into effect in July. I have no proof that he lived with me during that time and I'm not sure how I can prove that he did? Any suggestions??

Does anyone know what the details on common-law marriage are for Wyoming?

I heard that it's when 2 people, man and woman, live together for a certain period of time, sharing income. My boyfriend and I have been living together for 7 months now.

My insurance starts at the beginning of next month and I was wondering if there was any way I could get him covered with myself.

I understand this is available through public record but is it legal and morally ethical for him to do that and is there anything we can do, surely there are rules about this. I have used emails directed to goverrnment agencies requesting answers and attached the proof as attachments. I copy hundreds of people locally in order for them to understand what criminals our law enforcement and government has become. Locally, the hundreds recieve them, but those in other states don't recieve these specific messages or are unable to open the attachments. Yahoo has always just quoted their privacy statment and told me the government can do anything it wants. Any suggestions? Is this what our "freedom" has come to?

I'm interested to know why Jeffrey Dahmer was simply sentenced to life in prison, but Ted Bundy was sentenced to death. I've noticed this in other cases. Sometimes, at least to me, the crimes seem relatively the same and yet one might get death and the other only life. What decides such sentences?

A couple of months ago I selected and paid for some dining room chairs from MFI. They were due to be delivered two weeks later. The chairs came but without the chair covers that I had chosen. MFI phoned me twice to delay delivery of the covers; first it was 1st week in March, then the last week in March. I agreed because I like the colour of the covers. Then, today they phoned again to say the covers won't be delivered until the last week in APRIL!!! I asked to speak to the manager to complain and see what recourse I had and was told that he would call me back. I'm not holding my breath! Do you think MFI will take the chairs back and refund my money, or since I agreed to the first two delays, am I stuck with them?
