If you don't think you can take care of a baby put it up for adoption. They're alot of people who want to have kids and can't.

Abortion, like all Liberal dogma, is based on a double standard. In this case the belief that only one parent should have the right to decide whether or not to murder their child.

Such double standards persist throughout all other Liberal beliefs including the belief that discrimination on the basis of race is wrong, unless it is labeled 'affirmative action' and directed against Caucasians, and the belief that it is wrong to discriminate on the basis of religion, unless of course, it is restricting Christians rights to practice their faith.

"Were it not for double standards, Liberals wouldn't have any standards at all"

First it depends on when you believe life begins, conception or later. That would naturally affect one's interpretation of murder since we do kill cells everyday.

Secondly, I am neither "pro-life" nor "pro-choice". I believe that there are no absolutes in life. In the cases of incest, rape or threat to the mother's life - abortion is a justified option.

However people who abuse abortion by being promiscuous are giving a bad name to abortion. The popularity or lack thereof of abortion merely is a symptom of a bigger problem in the US, not the problem itself.

The real problem is WHY would we need to allow women to have abortions when they feel like? Clearly sex education is not working, values have changed and the responsibility of parents has declined significantly.

Lastly, devil's advocate here: If all the women in the US who had an abortion last year didn't have one, where would these unwanted children go? Adoption and foster care sure is backed up already, welfare can't really handle more people and the taxpayers don't want to pay for the very same kids they would force people to have.

The law gives them the power.

Change the law to define life beginning at conception you say?

That gives fetuses the same rights and protections under the law that all children have. That means arresting any woman who does anything that might harm the fetus including smoking, drinking alcohol, taking drugs including over the counter meds, not following her doctor's advice about anything.

Murder investigations would necessarily be initiated following every miscarriage or stillborn birth.

It goes on and on.

It's not alive if it doesn't have any conscious about its own life, if you know what I mean.
And YES women have the right to choose whether to destroy their life for good or not!

Sometimes women are just not ready to have a child, and if they have a child when they are not ready then their whole life is ruined.

And I hope you have a girlfriend with whom you just 'hang around' and then one day BAM she says she's pregnant. Will you take responsiblity!? Will you accept to be a father, when that's the last thing on your mind, being the age of 22 lets say!?

So YES THEY HAVE THE RIGHT. and not only them, but the guys too should a right to say something too !

First trimester abortion. Can that undeveloped fetus live outside the mothers body? No is the answer. Miscarriages happen during the first trimester because the female body can tell when something is wrong? So if physically my body can abort when something isn't right with the pregnancy why shouldn't I be allowed to make that choice if mentally I know that something isn't right with the pregnancy? The person making that choice will have to atone to God. He gave us free will for a reason. We all are responsible for our own paths. I don't fallow you around trying to prevent you from sinning. If sin is sin in Gods eyes all are equal, then we all have our plates full with our own daily sin.

AMEN to all of your statement. What they seem to forget while they are trying to justify their actions is that before they get pregnant --- it is their body (alone) and they can do as they please with it. That's the time to practice birth control. When you are pg. you are the host of another human life until it is ready to face the world. Killing a baby is a pretty sick method of birth control. It's not really a person until it's born? Then why was Scott Peterson tried and found guilty of a double murder?

Yes because it's that simple isn't it! Your making out that every women who doesn't keep her baby has sat and tossed a coin to choose. I agree that termination of a fetus that would be viable if born is wrong but before that stage I think the debate is much more complex than calling all women murderers.

Here we go again....The fact is it is legal and MY BODY. With that said, I do believe that people DO need to take responsibility. But, you can't lay all this on women. Men love to pressure women into having sex without protection because "It doesn't feel as good." I think both parties need to be responsible and think about their actions before something bad happens. But, you guys have to help here. You want sex too. When two people have sex, that is the risk you take. So, before you men go spouting to women about taking responsibility. You have to do that too. It takes TWO to have a baby. And, if you don't want her to have an abortion, then YOU have to ALSO be responsible for that child. You can't dump it all on her because you don't want a child NOR do you want her to have an abortion.

Hey! ain't u the dude that wrote "Woman is the n*ggar of the world, Woman is the n*ggar of the world, We paint her up and make her dance, We paint her up and make her dance." If not, you're using some copyrighted photo.

But, back to your "question". You really want to interfere with intercession between a woman and her god? That's a heavy burden in itself.

I have always been totally against abortion in all circumstances and have always said i would never kill a child, but after being raped and getting pregnant, i had to make the toughest decision of my life and decided to get an abortion! Its not as easy a decision as you make it out to be - not everything is that black and white, and also what i did will haunt me forever, but i still know i made the right decision for the baby and myself!
