Parents are legally, morally and financially responsible for their children until the child reaches the age of majority which is 18.

Exceptions are the child becoming an emancipated minor which can happen at age 16 in my state, or the courts terminating the parental rights towards the child due to neglect, abuse, etc.

If you are considering running away, please, please look for other resources within your community to address whatever family issues you may be facing.

Assuming you're in the United States, the answer is 18. Any younger than that will get the 18-year-old charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, at least.

18 years old. Also depends on what state you are living. Check your state law regarding this issue. But if you are running away with someone, then I would suggest not to do go with them.

18 probably. As an emancipated minor the laws don't change. Emancipated just means you can live on your own and be responsible for yourself. You still can't drink.

I think 18 as well. It may depend on the state though.
