I need a lawyer that charge no fee until they win the case for you. I need a lawyer because i was wrongly fired, discriminated against, all while having my character defamed. I live in Bronx, NY and was wondering whether anyone knows a lawyer that deals with that kind of thing, but do not charge a fee unless you win the case. I cannot afford to pay a lawyer at this time.

My husband and I live in a condo complex. We do not have locked mailboxes. We have seen our neighbor on numerous occassions, going through other people's mail boxes. Although we've never seen him take anything from other's mail, he does however shuffle through all pieces of mail and then puts them back. The condo committee has spoken with him several times, but he continues his actions. What else can we do to detour this guy? Is going through someone elses mail a federal offense, if you do not take anything from the box?

I know a person who got a loan from a family member and due to circumstances beyond his control, he hasn't been able to pay thus far. His family member is threatening to get an attorney and sue as well as get a collection agency to collect. Will this hold up on court being that there were no real legal documents involved?

I work for a monopoly corporation. When they close, the manager does the self check out machine and takes all the money to the back. Well, while he's doing this, he claims he can't let us out and that we have to wait til he's done with the money. This means that me and the other employees have to be stuck inside by the front door, anywhere from ten to thirty minutes without pay, becuase by this time, we've all already clocked out. some people take this time to organize their departments off the clock, but not me, i just want to go home! i dont mind if it happens once in a while but it seems to occur often whenever i get the closing shift. is this illegal? should i report it to our company's ethics hotline?

My ex-girlfriend had me arrested for aggravated assault & domestic violence. (resulting from my refusal to marry her) I spent 2 day's in jail. I have secured a good attorney. The charges have been dropped to a 1st degree misdemeanor. After that she falsely accused me of violating a protective order I voluntarily signed. Yet Another false accusation, which was reveresed. We are confident the charges will eventually be dismissed after a lot of time and money. Can she keep playing the legal system? Do I have any recourse afterward? This is killing my family! Please advise thanks.

8 yrs ago I had my son. His father left me when I was 7 months pregnant. He had gotten a minor pregnant as well and chose to be with her.
Since then I have raised my son and done an excellent job of it. My son knows one man as his father (my ex who I met when my son was 2 months old) He raised him and was everything a father would be. So my kid doesnt know any different.
Meanwhile while I am taking care of my son...his "real" father is in and out of jail for all kinds of stuff. He has never in 8 yrs contacted me wanting to see my son or anything. His name isnt on the Birth certificate and he has never payed child support. I had a little scare about 2 years ago when some girl called me saying this guy was wanting to be in my sons life. But nothing ever came of it because he went back to jail.
Recently he was released again and I am worried he is going to try to bother us.
what chances does he have in WV for rights at this point? Isnt it abandonment and arent I owed back support

I mean i just head some pathetic person say as part of his reasons why "The USA is better than the UK", he said, "Shoot me, oh no wait, you losers aren't aloud guns hAHAHAH".

I mean, wouldn't you prefer a country where there are no guns - unless you're a x-convict on the loose, the only guns in the UK, are at airports with anti-terror units, and guns on the street are illegally imported, Has this person no knowledge of the high guncrime rates in the US, that people can easily have their heads blown off on the street, well that pathetic person has let down americans, put it this way, a society without guns is better, better than a place where you can get a gun when your 16 WITHOUT A LISCENCE (some states), You don't need a gun if your enemy hasn't one, so this un-educated person doesn't know that a place without guns is better - for normal civilised people like me, maybe not for people who escaped from prison!

The lowest driving age in the US is 14. In my opinion that is a little extreme. I think the legal driving age in Virginia should be lowered from 16 and 3 months to 15 and 6 months. Right now in the US legal driving ages range from 14 to 18. That is not fair for the 18 year olds. They would be going into college or a new work environment not being an experienced driver. In my opinion the driving age should be all the same in the continental US being 15 for learners permit and 15 and 6 months for driver’s license. In other areas it should be lowered or raised depending on the region.
The first major reason the driving age should be lowered is that it would make teenagers more responsible. In my experience it would have helped if I had a license to do things such as get a job. Many times teens want money, so what’s a better way than to earn it? The problem with that is most parents work too, so there wouldn't be a ride for the teen. Another reason is they could help out with errands like running little brothers or sisters around, or going to the store. Responsibility is absent in many teens, and it would be raised earlier in life if teens had the chance to deal with “the real world.”
One key point that critics make is that teens are reckless, and hostile with road rage. They make teens sound like animals, or criminals. In reality most teens are very conscientious about road safety and care about others safety as well as their own. There are, in some cases, instances where underage drinking and drugs play a part in wrecks. But just because some teens make bad decisions doesn’t mean all should be punished.
While on the topic of drugs and drinking, most students get into that after school, when parents are late to pick them up. If they had a car, they’d be less tempted to get into that. Lowering the driving age would also help the students academically. I know many students who can’t stay after school because of lack of a ride. Tutoring and sports are essential to being a “well rounded student.”
In conclusion, lowering the driving age would raise responsibility, grades, and college acceptance. Teens are used to high priced living, and more are failing to take life seriously. Driving will help them see how a split second decision can change your life for the better, or the worse.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
I own a home based business, and many times I will go out and try and sell some of my products. I don't push my products, meaning I don't "force" anyone to buy. I have a problem with a liqour store owner. He comes out and states, I can't sell my products in the strip shop complex. The liqour store is ONE of the businesses operating w/in this shopping complex. Does he have the right to tell me I can't sell there? However none of the other biz owners bother me, some even ask what is selling? Do tell.
