dealing with visitation rights

I have an interesting question concerning overtime pay in the state of Virginia. My wife is a nurse (Hourly pay) who is given an "on-call" cell phone for 1-2 weeks at a time. She is constantly on the thing when she has it dealing with issues at work and talking to doctors. She is also required to stay in town on these days in case she has to go in for some reason.

I am a manager myself and I believe that she is due compensation for the time she spends on the phone with work. I cannot find supporting regulations for this though (probably do not know where to look) and wonder if any of you know where to find the info.

Thanks

My fiance is currently on probation for felony sposal abuse. He is not supossed to contact his ex although he has a son with her. He is ordered to be on probation for 4 yrs and has completed 2 yrs and is up for early dismisal. She has been contacting him via email and informing him he is a horrible father for not being around for his son. *Problem is he is ordered not to make contact! She is threatening to have his parental rights revoked. My fiance is really hurt! He loves his son and wants him to be a complete part of his life! We can't contact her or respond because it is against his probation. She is also saying her husband would love to adopt his son considering (my fiance) doesn't want anything to do with him. "NOT TRUE!" WE...want to see his son!! But, he is not suposed to make contact....What does my (fiance) do???

My room mate is having a party at our place, and there will be alcohol. Can I get in trouble if I don't drink, and the liquor is not mine, but just because it is in my home? (My roommate and I are both underage.)

On January 3, 2006, 18-year-old Nazanin Mahabad Fatehi was sentenced to death for murder by court in Iran after she stabbed one of three men who attempted to rape her and her 16-year-old niece in a park in Karaj (a suburb of Tehran) in March 2005. She was seventeen at the time. Iran is signatory to international treaties which forbid them to execute any one under the age of 18; however they continue to do so.

The injustice of this case propelled Nazanin Afshin-Jam to take immediate action and start a petition to help save the life of her namesake. The petition now has over 200 000 signatures from around the world.

I have a lot of pending legal fees because of trying to terminate visitation rights of my ex, who abuses my kids. I am told the fees will be about 8k. Can my attorney drop me if I don't have this money upfront? I intend to pay him, but cannot have it all at once. Can he drop me? I am hysterical! BTW I live in NJ, if that makes a difference.

He is military and the Army told him that he would have to provide a vehicle for me sinse i have custody of our child. I moved to Ne in June and i just found out today that he cancelled our auto insurance in July. We are still paying on the truck , that is in his name. He recently, Novemeber, sent me new tags for the truck that he apparently got with expired insurance. What should i do? We will be starting our court hearings for our divorce later this month, can i use it to my advantage?

1. Do you think that the government should be able to torture or hurt criminals in jail as punishment?

2. Do you think captial punishment is right or wrong?

3. If you were a criminal, lets say a murderer, would you rather be tourtured or killed?

I'm writing something for a fiction course and have no other way of researching this at the immediate present. I was just wondering if it is ever possible for a civilian to obtain a search warrant, especially in the case of a VEHICLE in the UK.

thanks so much for any help you can give :).

I left two very sentimental family heirlooms in a tanning salon in Hendersonville TN (Captain Video) on 11/16 @5:30 pm. Well a month later I received a call from a man calling himself Jim Cooper and said that he had two rings he had bought from a blond girl (which the girl who was in after me was blond & named Sarah).
He said he had bought them from her for $180 and the location was right where I had lost them. He got my # from flyers put up inside the business. He has a Chicago # and wanted me to pay him back the money he was out. He described the rings so I know he has them. If anyone knows him please contact me. I have all of the girls info that took them but I need the rings back first before I can go any further with this. I need to find out if this guy really exists. And the employees said that there is a trucker that parks around there frequently and the name on the truck is Dawes Contract Carriage with a Wisconsin plate. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone actually think allowing these new personal tasers is actually a good idea? How long before they become a tool for mugging, rape and home invasions?

Okay, we heard the news about people suing resturant too hot coffee, having roaches, glasses in their food, drink , feeling sick after eaten... and so on.. I mean if it is a group thing, that is trust worthy, but if it is only one person who had the problem, can't we just say he/she planned it and set it up for lawsuite.. what is the proof? And how do the make it to the news!?? I mean if you want, can you just put some glasses or mouse feet in the food and then just report and sue!??
