Unless there was a specific agreement, the father pays support until the child reaches 18. In most states, a student must stay in school until he or she is 16.

Depends on what state you live in. Until the child is 18 or emancipated ( gets married) the father has to pay child support. That is what I have on many of the states. Call the court house and ask them to clarify your states laws

yes he would BUT the huge and actually my 1st response is WHY on earth is the mother allowing this 15 year old leave school...................maybe the father who is paying for the child would be a better role model and have the child live with him and get him back into school and then child support would stop.....

Yes. Child support continues until the child is 18 or graduates from high school, whichever is later.

Yes untl the child is 18 or emancipated (that means legally declared as an adult by the court system).

The only way to get emancipated it for the child to go to court and request emancipation, you can not request it just to save a few bucks.

Emancipation is normally only granted if he/she is supporting themself as an adult would and the court feels the child is making wise decisions. They will not do this if he/she dropped out of school.

Pay up for 3 more years. Ca Ching!!!

Depends on the State. In NC, the law says that the minor must be making progress towards graduation. Quitting is not progress, so check with an attorney where you live.
