I'm hoping someone with some legal experience can help me. I got sick and had to go to the hosipital. I recieved a bill for about $780. I called and gave them my insurance info and they filed a claim for $1500.00. Is this normal for the hospital to tack on $800 because I have insurance? Would like some advice on what to do next, anything would help.

My hubby was at work when he was arrested he was infront of all his co workers and supervisers...they new where he was going and they new he wasnt getting out right away..he was away from his job 3 and a half days..he was released monday and called his boss to see when he could come back to work they said no u are fired for no call no show...my question is....Is that legal for them to fire him and use the excuse no call no show????

My grandma is 81 and living in Florida...I am in Michigan. My grandma has been having strokes and she's in the hospital again. From what I hear my sister lives in Florida as well and my grandma is not getting proper treatment...my aunt...(my grandmas daughter) and her b/f have cashed in a $60,000 CD and they have put her house and car up for sale already! I don't know how much time she has left but the doctor my grandma has is my aunts friend! He doesn't even specialize in strokes....he's for internal medicine....We have a strong feeling like they aren't even trying to help her...she's got bedsores and on no meds. What can I do??? I'm desperate! I just can't believe my aunt could be doing this to her. I need to know our rights and her rights and who I can contact. I have no idea what to do . PLEASE help! Thanks!

I work in a fairly well known chain salon. It was recently brought to managements attention that one of our stylists was unlicensed. This stylist was given the a time frame to either obtain the license or a permit or be released from duty.
Since then, the stylist in question and one of her friends that work at the same salon, have been less than cordial to me. This incident came up in conversation with other coworkers who had expressed the same concern, but somehow it got back to the said stylist that I and only I perpatrated the whole situation. Since then, I have worked with that particular stylist and her supporter friend, and it has been less than civil. Working in a salon you have to interact with all of the stylists employed there, whether you want to or not. I get rude, abrupt answers that even the clients notice. I often have to make excuses for thier attitudes towards me. I DREAD working my shifts with the both of them.Does this constitute a hostile environment?

Hi, I joined mostly to ask one question….
When I was growing up, I lived with my father. I constantly suffered from hunger, lead poisoning (chronic and acute), stress. I was forced to drop out of high school at 15, in grade 10. I am diagnosed with Autism, asbergers, tourettes syndrome, chronic depression, and 2 hormonal disorders as a result. By mere coincidence, I have an IDENTICAL (well, we used to be) twin brother who lived with my mom, is 2 inches taller, and is completing his 3rd year in a university honors program. So what can I do, in terms of suing my father, etc? I remember him making me strip lead paint indoors, screaming at me to stop eating…. and so much more…. I’m on disability insurance now, 750$ a month, including rent.
He always had enough money, more than 100,000$ in stocks, he just wouldn't use it.

I just bought a used car from someone. I was vaccuming it and pulled the back seat up an found almost as much money that I paid for the car.($4,000)Should I call the previous owner or Laugh and say free car? who Knows if the previous owner put it there or the person who owned it before them?What do you think?
