Not if you move to West Virginia.
If the carcass wasn't there when you drove by yesterday, then its fresh enough to eat. Or so I have heard.

Are you in your right senses??? how can you eat your beloved pet whatever maybe his causes of death.Why the hell did you have a pet if all that you wanted him was for your benefit?? even after his death he should serve yoy as your food isnt it???
Even if it was legal to eat pets you should be ashamed of having thought of eating Fido

Are you going to eat your friends when they die? Why not, you don't want them to go to waste. I guess you think we should eat everything that dies. Maybe you should start with bugs first.

Although I am personally appalled at your question, this action does not satisfy the necessary requirements for a charge of cruelty to animals.However, why would you even ask such a question???

No. It doesn't count as animal abuse if the **** thing is dead. I don't see anything wrong with it...My uncle ate dog before...Don't let good meat go to waste! Just make sure you don't serve it to anyone who has a pet ....w/e your animal is.
