I want to know if there exists a list of lawyer in my area of canada that will tell me if someone was a lawyer at one time but not at present and if he was disbarred, why?

I am sure if you are that interested you can pay for a background check. There exists many companies that can get that sort of information for as little as $50 or less. I will not link them because I do not want to reccomend something I have not used, but if it is that important consider persuing this route, probably easier to get the information and maybe slightly more legal to obtain it this way then asking somebody to divulge sensitive personal information
