I have spoke with their parents and it continues to happen. I live on the highest hill in our neighboorhood and have a very dangerous driveway. They skateboard and ride there bike down my driveway and have even skateboarded on my front deck. Today I caught 3 young boys stomping on our brick retaining wall and kicking the lights down around them. The boys range from age 4 to 8. They ran away and hide in my yard when I went to talk to them and ran away when I went to find them behind a tree. I knocked on the parents door and nobody answered the door. I don't want to call the police and become the neighboorhood witch. What can I do?

You know that little tag on the bed that says, "Do not remove under penalty of law". Well, I sort of removed it....Now I don't know what's gonna happen to me!!

How much time do i have to serve for something like this? Does anyone have any suggestions about what I should do now?!?!?!

Please, someone, HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, ~Katie~

I'm familiar with it being associated with national tragedy or some form of respect. But how do flag owners know when it has begun, more to my personal point, when it stops? Is there some form of bureau that distributes that info daily like they do with gas prices?

The other day,I made a cell-phone call from work.Nothing unusual about that EXCEPT, that it had a beeping noise about every 20-30 seconds or so.Now, I know that the conventional phone lines are monitored; but on a private cell phone? I work for a large corp. that is verry remotely associated with the fed gov't. so why the tap on a private line? Is this legal now , since the patriot act ?Additionally ,If they can monitor a cell call, did they have to get the carriers permission?

My nephews are currently taken away from their parents by CPS. Now, recently I found out that I have a horrible autoimmune disease that is hereditary and signs show up in early infancy. The caseworker and the managing conservators have all been informed of the urgency and gravity of this disease, but for 7 months, no one will get them checked to find out if they have it, too. In my opinion, this is not in the best interests of the children because if they have it (and it's a great possibility), then they have, in effect, been poisoning them and trying to kill them every day for 7 months. Everyone knows the boys could have it, but they are refusing to acknowledge it and also refusing medical treatment. But who do you report the caseworker at CPS to? She is in collusion with everyone else trying to kill my nephews. What can I do?

Social services was involved and evaluated all parties and determined that the child was in no harm, even though the mother's boyfriend teases and intaganates my son. Once the boyfriend depants my son and has given him wedgies. The mother has done nothing to resolve the problem and has continuiously let the problem evolve. The social worker did find that my son was "sad" to be just 5 years old and that counseling was the best for him, he isn't sad around me. Social services closed the case and I am awaiting a medation with a magistrate to determine the custodial rights of my son.

Co-worker demanding you to do something when they are not your supervisor, and making false claims without proof.

What are your rights, and what can you do about it?

I have never registered with any of the State or Government no call list and never had a "problem" with telemarketers harassing me.

This great state of connecticut had a huge campaign on a few years ago all kinds of marketing to get you to register you cell phone numbers otherwise you would be harassed by telemarketers.
They really tried to intimidate and scare people with the idea you would go broke being charged for the calls unless you register you cell phone with the state.....BULL!
I didnt register and they never have called!
Its a scam to have everyones name, numbers and address for state and federal government use.........and records for whatever reason that may be. Just more control, less rights for us more for them!

I have a problem teenage daughter who CPS said has to be removed from my home for the protection of my 5 year old son, since it is not good for him to see her beating up his mother. The person who has filed for guardianship is the mother of a friend of hers. I have accepted that it is best for her to be out of the house. CPS basically did not give me a choice, otherwise they would have filed a case against me if I did not agree. So now I received my copy of the petition for appointment of guardian. The person filing does not know me, only the lies she has been told by my daughter. The petition contains a statement full of vile lies and inaccuracies. I am not required to attend the hearing or reply in any way, but I do not want the lies to stand. What can I do to reply to the court and let them know the truth? Everything I have to say can be verified, which the other party cannot do. This woman has no idea what she is getting into, and seems to be motivated by $ she will get.

what are some examples of "practical guidlines" the supream court uses for hearing each case?

one example i came up with is that it consists of 9 people and not 100 like congress (if there were 100 people on the supream court it would take forever for them to get through one case)

if you have any ideas it would realy help me out...thanx

My friend's husband is currently in jail in Missouri. He was residing in Arkansas with his wife and step-children before being arrested. If he gets placed on probation will he be allowed to leave the state to his home? Is there anything we can do now to speed up the process if not?

Seriously. Please, no ignorant answers saying "Bush lied!" Or... "Bush is a fascist Bastard!!"
I want serious answers. Think about the question. Consider the checks and balances. Think about something besides Iraq, when coming up with a response.
(Think about how Clinton had Osama in custody back in the 90's.)
If your shoe size is higher than your IQ, then don't even click to answer this question.
Please. I'm serious. This is for serious discussion.

Our new Congress voted in the min. wage increase. It will rise to 7.25 next two years. Congress voted themselves three raises before ever raising min. wage. I am a Democrat and voted these guys into office. And they give this little raise to min. wage. When are they going to really get in touch with the average American? Do they think the people are really this stupid? I for one, is ashamed that they tooted their horns on such a poor solution to a great issue.

It seems that with every hall of fame vote, someone is left out and it begins the age old debate about being a role model. While I agree that athletes are role models, some good and others bad, is that really what should keep them out of the hall of fame? My case in point is the sacred cow, (in more ways than one) of baseball, Babe Ruth.

Ruth hit 637 of his HR's while using an illegal substance. This is not even up for debate because it is well documented throughout his career that he was a user. He often came to games while under the influence of this drug and at the same time, many believe it calmed his nerves and allowed him to perform at a much higher level than his counterparts. This same drug sends people to rehabilitation clinics in the US at an alarming rate each year. This drug does not have the same stigma as say Cocaine or Heroin, but it causes more deaths than both of those drugs combined and is the third leading cause of death in the United states only behind Tobacco and Heart disease.

What is this drug? Alcohol. For those who want to say it is okay, remember it was illegal from October of 1919 until 1933. That means for 14 of the most productive years of Babe Ruth's career he was using an illegal drug. How about that for being a role model. If you want to keep someone out of the hall of fame based upon stats that is one thing, but to do it because of social stigmas and morals, then why is he in the HOF? The morals of that day said alcohol was wrong.
