My nephews are currently taken away from their parents by CPS. Now, recently I found out that I have a horrible autoimmune disease that is hereditary and signs show up in early infancy. The caseworker and the managing conservators have all been informed of the urgency and gravity of this disease, but for 7 months, no one will get them checked to find out if they have it, too. In my opinion, this is not in the best interests of the children because if they have it (and it's a great possibility), then they have, in effect, been poisoning them and trying to kill them every day for 7 months. Everyone knows the boys could have it, but they are refusing to acknowledge it and also refusing medical treatment. But who do you report the caseworker at CPS to? She is in collusion with everyone else trying to kill my nephews. What can I do?

When I was first dx'ed with the disease, my own physician told me that anyone with any of the same blood I had needed to be tested immediately. This disease can retard growth and development. It can cause seizures and other terrible things for a child to have to have. And my older nephew has already shown signs and symptoms. Other than their parents (who are not allowed to do or say anything) and me, no one is standing up for these kids.

This really is a serious problem.

Try contacting the American Family Rights Association (link below). They may be able to point you to resources in your area. There are also other family rights groups fighting CPS and DFS abuse, and AFRA can help you connect up with them.

Sounds like there needs to be some immediate advocacy in this case on behalf of the family. Find out who your local U.S. Representative is as well, and contact them constantly until they help you (they may not want to bother).

Don't give up, Connect up with people who can help.

One way would be to go through an attorney, drag it out in court and all that nonsense. Probaably in about 2 years you will get it settled.
Or...do like MC said. (the first person who answered). Go to your local news. Have documentation to prove how many times you have tried to inform the people at CPS of this situation. The news will jump all over this. They live for this kind of thing, its what they make a living off of.

Contacting State Legislators may help.

Probably your best bet would be to contact (preferably call) your state legislator, assemblyman, or whatever state representatives are called in your state. They are politicians and are usually helpful in such cases because they don't want it to be known they allowed harm to come to a child--it could hurt them at election time.

I think you should speak with a physician regarding your concerns to see if he/she believes testing the children is an emergent situation.
