I entered someones front garden, when i approached the house some chickens/hens were loose in the garden, they come to me and basicaly started pecking at my ankles, i tried to kick them off then more came, thre was probably about 15 of them all going for me. i tried to get to the gate but i fell over and hurt my ankle, I was pecked at in my face causing minor lacerations. i managaged to get out of the gate. when the owner came out i ran off. i had killed 2 of them in panic, now i dont know where i stand legally because i had to file an accident report for work and the owners claim they watched me kill them for no reason, but this is not the case. i have a few cuts/scraches to prove it, is there any chance i can claim compensation? because they should of had a sign warning people before they enter the property. i have no idea why they attacked me, i didnt even know chickens did that!

Take any issue, say in this case, importing of prescription medication from Canada, but it could be anything. If the Federal government passes a law or in some other way, effectively bans the practice, can a single state or group of states say otherwise and un-ban the practice?

my photographer has gone bankrupt and so i cant obtain copies from him for my pictures , so the question means can i now take those pictures i have and have them copied somewhere else???
if not why not as he is no longer in a position to hold the copyright as he cant give me copies??

Long story short... I was driving to work, going towards a bridge. A man pulled right out in front of me from my left and cut me off. I hit my breaks and horn. The guy immediatly started sliding due to ice. I still had my breaks on because he did pull out but because of ice, I hit him as he was spinning. I hit his driver side rear. (where the gas door would be) It's been 3 weeks and I just found out today that it's my fault. How can that be if he pulled out in front of me and lost control? Is there anything I can do? also, my car is totalled now. I'm left with storage fees for my car being there and no car.

I think they should have to be qualified for the job. This way it's not the one with the most money that wins, it's the one that knows what to expect and how to handle it. A committe should be set-up, the tests and results should be made public (with no politics involved).

Pit Bulls are just like any other animal except certain states want to terminate their breed. You could get bit by any animal. For a while Doberman Pinschers were bad then Rottweilers were bad and so on and so forth. Why ban an animal for a bad rep, ban the people that make them that way. Next it will be your family retreiver or lab being banned for being too vicious.

3 years ago I loaned a guy I was dating $5,000 to help with a business he started. We had an agreement that he would pay me back within a certain time frame. He didnt. I took him to court. I had him served by a P.I. but he still didnt show up in court. In fact the three times I had him served he never showed up. A judgement was placed against him. Now he seems to have dissapeared off the face of the earth. How long will the judgement apply? I am married now but I still really want my money back. Should I just let it go?

I asked this question in similar form two weeks ago. Thank you for the answers, I'm sorry for not responding but I was quite ill.
I am asking because the motive is to provide legal and social protection and dignity to two women who love each other deeply and wish to live in the same way that a husband and wife would. I know from experience that lesbians are tortured horribly in Indian culture and that many even kill themselves together to keep their love intact instead of being torn from each other by cruel people. If I marry this beautiful couple of two women I know and am good friends with, if this is legal, then I can provide them enconomic, legal, and social protection as "my wives" in case of my death--they can still remain together with no hassle. I asked the quesiton here because I am not clear as to the actual legalities of this and am embarrassed to ask anyone I know in person--and also do not want to "blow the cover" of my two friends who deserve each others' love.

Well, Iive in an apartment, next door there is a kid who is kinda mentel. Well I sweared at my house yesterday and that kid learn that swear (son of a b***h) and he went to his school and sweared it out loud 3time!!!!! cops well not write reports thay do illegal things themselfs to me. court apointed lawyers do not even let me know name of who arrests me or make the cops return what thay steel or vandalize. relitives commit lots of crimes against me as well as lots of people i know too. not alowed to call dispach ever. only alowed to call a cop if there is an emergency only. cop has locked me out of my own house. can not even get anyone i know to be a wittness of anything, even my preacher refuses to walk out oif his church to be a wittness even when i offered to pay him. i am in serious situations. banks have given away my bank acounts. even a cop stoled my bank acount. have been made blined with pepper spray jailed then told to tair up ticket. faulsly arrested. never do i get assistance. all media always keeps everything of me out. dog catcher stoled my dogs & sold them in another state. i ask everyone for years how do i get a lawyer to sue legal aid says take them to court. no one give assistance

My lawyer dropped my case but the company i was sueing had offered me $1,500 before she dropped me and i cant find anyways to take my case is thier a way i could call the company myself and see if they would give me the money or what do i have to do. I have been in GA all my life. I do know that when Laura Bush killed a person during a DUI accident in high school she was not punished and when Bush first ran for office they managed to cover it all up.
