I asked this question in similar form two weeks ago. Thank you for the answers, I'm sorry for not responding but I was quite ill.
I am asking because the motive is to provide legal and social protection and dignity to two women who love each other deeply and wish to live in the same way that a husband and wife would. I know from experience that lesbians are tortured horribly in Indian culture and that many even kill themselves together to keep their love intact instead of being torn from each other by cruel people. If I marry this beautiful couple of two women I know and am good friends with, if this is legal, then I can provide them enconomic, legal, and social protection as "my wives" in case of my death--they can still remain together with no hassle. I asked the quesiton here because I am not clear as to the actual legalities of this and am embarrassed to ask anyone I know in person--and also do not want to "blow the cover" of my two friends who deserve each others' love.
