I have been in GA all my life. I do know that when Laura Bush killed a person during a DUI accident in high school she was not punished and when Bush first ran for office they managed to cover it all up.

I don't see how they can even think about charging Brandy for the wreck. It was an accident at all cost - I understand she "caused" the wreck but the family should sue her if they wish but she shouldn't go to jail.

First of all, there is no PROOF that Laura was intoxicated or under the influence at the time of the crash. Second of all, the crash occurred in 1963, when there were very different laws on the books for driving.

As for Brandy, from what I understand, she may have caused the wreck, but there is no sign that she was under the influence. Thus, it was an ACCIDENT (they actually do happen, you know) and she should not be charged with a crime (unless it is proven that she was being willfully negligent at the time).

One should, first and foremost, consider the sources from which they obtain information.

Allegations, rumors, and inuendos abound when people "sensationalize" a story they hear from another.

So far the best source you provided was from "snoops" which I've always found to be UNBIASED and to the point along with well investigated.

No where in your links do I find anything that substantiates the 17 year old Laura was intoxicated or even considered to have been drinking.

My strongest suggestion to you is quit trying to "taint" the credibility of another person without having the FACTS of a case from the OFFICIAL source!

Best wishes!

You mean, Brandy's penalty should be to marry someone fabulously wealthy and privileged who eventually becomes President . . . ?

Sure, why not? However, I can't imagine that Brandy could ever become as out-of-touch and isolated from mainstream America as the incumbent First Family seem to be.

I would say that unless you are a certified Traffic Accident Investigator - you have no room to be question the judgments of trained law enforcement officers.
