This was on the very same day that a journalist from the News of the World was sent to jail for tapping into Prince William's phone. Have these judges no brains at all - surely this guy should have been hit in the pocket instead? And his paper fined big-time?

The 'peedo' has been sent back to his village on bail, pending sentencing. If you went & beat him up, they'd find a spot for you in the cell with the NOTW journo, chum.

Yes he has been set free whilst pre sentence reports are made.

The judge (Cottle) said he had to take into consideration the directive he had received from the Home Secretary.

This man will end up in prison after he attends the court again for sentencing.

I believe this is a load of bollocks, the Judge should have remanded him in custody.

I am not a Labour fan by any means, but to blame Reid (Home Secretary) is wrong. The Judge should have done his duty to society and locked up this pervert from the start.

Well it is true, but in the same week someone was sent to jail for tapping into the royals mobile phones, so it's all a bit twisted!
And I'm sure you would go to jail if you beat him up!

no it really did happen. because our prisons are too full. in the paper the other day it said 2 or 3 had been given suspended sentences rather than sent to prison.

Unfortunately yes it is true, how can they not convict a known paedophile. If there's no room in prison, why not give them a sentence on a rope.
