My co-worker was selected for an advanced leadership and processes management certification course. Most people either didn't apply, weren't recommended or eligiable (a BA or BS degree is required and 7+ years with the company, he has about 15). Everyone was happy for him, but no one thought he really deserved it either (Poor work ethics and completely lacking in interpersonal skills). Most everyone said he really needed to go to that program. Now he is washing out of this 16 week program after two weeks, AFTER the company already paid for it. He is washing out due to missing too much class time. He missed too much class time due to hypochondriac condition, which the company already knew about, but didn't take into consideration due to legal reasons, meaning they wouldn't want to get sued because of it.

hi, my boyfriend had a coat stolen in a restaurant last week. The restaurant has no sign saying they are not liable for missing items.

He usually never hangs the coat. it was a leather jos. a banks beautiful coat.

i need some advice. does he claim this on his home owners? does he ask the restaurant to cover it on their insurance? does he need a police report?

the manager said she never thought about it and they never had a coat stolen before. she was indifferent when he asked what they could do for him.

I was recently fired from my bartending job on Jan, 6th 2007 By my GM because I missed my shift on Jan 5th because of an AA meeting I go to every Friday I called her to let her know at 4pm on that friday that I could not make it because I had a meeting on Friday night
in the four months I had worked there I only worked one friday night shift I did not disclose the nature of my meeting until I came into work on the 5th to find out I had been fired (by a regular customer)
I belive the justice of this termination is a result of discrimation against my character because of a recent suspension of another employee the other bartender was caught logging herself into the computer off shift, voiding drinks off her tab and also stealing bottles of champane and was issued a suspension I brought this up in the conversation with my GM when she was talking about why I was "let go" and she told me not showing up for work was a automatic termination when I asked why stealing was not a...

This guy that I breiefly met was telling me how he cheats on his taxes by claiming everything as a business expense (and this is a guy that makes a decent amount of money - therefore, should be paying a decent amount in taxes). He is an arrogant show-off and is in my opinion committing fraud on several people in order to make money. I know his name, and the name of his business. How can I alert the IRS? Also, can I make this claim anonymously? Will the IRS bother to do anything? Thanks!!

my question is do I have any entitlement to this house as my name is not on the title. Though this house has had a major turn around since I moved in.
Before I lived here his mom lived in it and it was a total pigstye, i mean dog crap, cat crap on the floor, piss in the rugs, flies, dirt even black mold.
You name it, I have pictures to prove what this house looked like before I moved in it.
Now it looks like a million bucks compared to what is was before. I believe I have been the motivating factor in getting him to make his house 100x better, but he tells me this is not my house in a fight but when we are getting along he says its "our" house.
My only proof of living here for the last 3 years is the taxes( I filed with him) and the phone bill which is in my name and any mail I get sent here.
I have also been the only person to help (not even his friends) with the renovation. we are breaking up and I dont want to walk away broke as I helped him turnthishousearoundforthelast3 y

How can the public have any faith in the result of the inquest into the death of Princess Diana if there is no jury? To say that a jury would not understand the issues is to denigrate the justice system.
Would we be happy with murder trials that were decided by a judge and not a jury?
