Hi my mum has had my little sister and brother away from her last year, and personally I think that the social services and a few others involved in our situation have bent and curruppt and without going into it too much is there anybody who can tell me what the next step if there is one from when you have had a final desision in a crown courtand you want to get another trial and hearing from someone from the out side is there a higher court that you can take a case like this to?
Thankyou
Janette

Because you said 'crown' court, I am going to assume this was in Canada.

About whether there is a higher court, there absolutely is. You can appeal decisions to the Appeal Court in your province, and from there, to the Supreme Court of Canada.

Appeal work, though, is not something where people generally represent themselves. Your mum would need a lawyer. If she cannot afford a lawyer, maybe one will help for a reduced amount or for free, but that would probably only happen if the lawyer felt the decision was wrong.

The Canadian Bar Association has branches in every Province that can help you find a lawyer in your province.

Hire an attorney or go to local social services office and request to speak w/the supervisor. They usually hand out booklets when u want info on how to get a re-trial, or if u disagreed w/the decision or even if u were not pleased with the way the social workers handled the case.. Or u can just go straight to the phone book or website in type in the name of the social services place and they should give u a list of #s...

Good luck...

there is not any difference. the two communities are/have been being discriminated against thoroughly unreasonably. it is unconstitutional (and easily unfair) to disclaim specific communities the rights granted to different equivalent communities. Likewise, to function such denial to the language of a shape could (in my unschooled opinion) fly at once interior the face of certainly one of those record it is designed to grant equivalent rights to all. The California splendid courtroom acted thoroughly interior its bounds by using magnificent down an unconstitutional ban, the two in 1948 and in 2008.
