I read this in a novel and was wondering if this was true, apparantly anyone who collapses has to be taken to st Thomas' before being pronounced dead.

That is indeed true. Nobody is allowed to be pronounced as having died at the house of commons.

Yes its true Dying in the house of commons is the only crime which is punishable by death!
