Flat is not in habitable condition, there are water leaks all over the kitchen wall and mold are everywhere in the flat.
I had tried to clean out mold but to no avail as it still grows. It has been 4 months already since
I move in last sept. And I had been ill most of the time.
The thing is that it is a 1 year fixed lease agreement, I'm wondering if I
have the right to ask for an early termination of a lease without us paying any penalties?

Millennium Bomber Sentence Thrown Out
Ahmed Ressam Could End Up With Shorter Sentence
By DAVID KRAVETS
AP
SAN FRANCISCO (Jan. 16) - A federal appeals court on Tuesday threw out the sentence of an Algerian man who was convicted of plotting to bomb Los Angeles International Airport at the turn of the millennium.

Ahmed Ressam was arrested near the U.S.-Canadian border in December 1999 after customs agents found 124 pounds of explosives in the trunk of his car.

Prosecutors said he was intent on bombing the airport on the eve of the millennium. The arrest raised fears of terrorism attacks and prompted the cancellation of millennium celebrations at Seattle's Space Needle.

Ressam was sentenced to 22 years in prison after being convicted off all nine charges. On Tuesday, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco reversed his conviction on one of the charges and sent the case back to a lower court to issue a new sentence and explain the rationale behind the original 22-year term.

Everyone's a victim of something! OH, I'm a victim because I'm mexican, black, asian, because I'm poor, because I work here, because I go to school here, because I work for her, because I have to write with pencils, because I do drugs and I just can't stop! Oh BOO HOO! Stop blaming all your problems on everyone else, including everyone in the government, and maybe you'll become a better person for it, huh? Agree or Disagree?

Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill.) said he once used marijuana and cocaine.

Obama wrote about his past drug use in his memoir, "Dreams of My Father," published after he finished law school.

Now, he's thinking of running for President in 2008.

Obama will now be filing papers to create an exploratory committee to investigate a possible presidential bid. He wants to become President, to become one of the most powerful men in the United States and, perhaps, the world.

Look at the "Help Wanted" section of any major newspaper in the United States and you'll see that a majority of potential employers state that a drug test and/or backround check will be required prior to being considered for employment.

In other words, if you've been using illegal drugs and/or have a criminal past that shows you once did and/or you admit, during the interview, that you once used illegal drugs, they do not want you and they will not hire you (unless the manager happens to be a family friend/member).

i live in los angeles ca. my car got a scratch from bumper to bumper on the passenger side, because of a wire,( part of the properties fence) wich was sticking out. i tried resolving it with the mamagement co. but they do not want to be responsible. someone told me to take it with their insurance people, but they are not handing over that info. to repair my car is about $400. i got pictuers of my car and fence, also i took pics at night thats when it happen, when i was coming in to the parking lot to show that there is no lighting. wire fence is old and rusted and i did not see as i was coming in, you can easily confuse it with a flower vine thats twisted with the fence. i really want to take care of this, not only because of the damages to my car but now is a principle matter. this management co. thinks that becuse we are low income people they can get away with everything, and just ignore and neglect problems

My mother wants to gift her property to my husband and I for several reasons. First, she is 74 and no longer wishes to own a home. Two, my other sibling has many, many issues and is banned from the home and family. I was told this was easy to do with a Quit Claim Deed. Is this all we need to own her home or are there any future consequences?

I have found that if you look into the background of people who say "move on" after your spouse has had an affair or left you, they have committed the same or similar transgressions. What does that mean, anyway? Of course you move on after a while. But why be so cold about it unless you acted in the same way?

I had to show two forms of ID for a job. No problem right? That's a lie. I had my social security card and my birth certificate. They couldn't accept them because I didn't have a photo ID. Well, my ID was lost so I went to get a new one. Then they tell me that they can't accept my social security card because there was two signatures on it. Let me explain. I got my social security card 8 years ago. I signed it with one of those milky pens. It faded so I went back over it with a black pen. Every other place has accepted it. Did I just have a witch wait on me or has anyone else been told this?

Sorry, I'm venting a little here.

What do you think? some people said they saw him on the phone, and the witness was supposedly sitting at dairy queen in the parking lot when this happened. It isnt even open? so who knos
