i live in los angeles ca. my car got a scratch from bumper to bumper on the passenger side, because of a wire,( part of the properties fence) wich was sticking out. i tried resolving it with the mamagement co. but they do not want to be responsible. someone told me to take it with their insurance people, but they are not handing over that info. to repair my car is about $400. i got pictuers of my car and fence, also i took pics at night thats when it happen, when i was coming in to the parking lot to show that there is no lighting. wire fence is old and rusted and i did not see as i was coming in, you can easily confuse it with a flower vine thats twisted with the fence. i really want to take care of this, not only because of the damages to my car but now is a principle matter. this management co. thinks that becuse we are low income people they can get away with everything, and just ignore and neglect problems

If you know the name of the company that owns or operates the property, then you can look up information on your Secretary of State website.

You will have to dig around a bit, but all corporations are registered. The names of the officers, addresses and other information is posted online.

If it is not operated by a corporation, then you will need to go to the county courthouse to investigate the ownership of the property. From court records, you will find mailing addresses of the company-but not the names of management. If the company is located out of state, then you go to that states secretary of state to find out the contact names.
