Last year the Swedish pastor Åke Green was convicted under Swedish hate speech laws for calling gays "a cancerous tumour on the body of society". However, the conviction was quashed due to freedom of religion.

What if the tables were turned? What if a gay guy called Christians a "cancerous tumour on the body of society"? I don't think the conviction would be quashed on any grounds. What do you think?

I was involved in an auto accident and received medical attention. The insurance company will not pay the medical bills to the doctor as they say it has been turned over to a third party administrator. I had been contacted by the insurance company a few months go to settle for a few hundred dollars above the medical bills and I refused. I have contacted a couple of attorneys and they do not want to take the case because of the age of it and no doctor has wanted to see me as I do not have insurance of my own. I am still having back problems and headaches and my car was totalled in the accident. I was rear ended by a drunk driver and from the beginning the insurance company said they would pay for what ever I needed. Any ideas of what I should do?

Since a woman can choose whether or not to have a child when she's pregnant, can a man choose whether or not to pay child support? What do you think of that logic? It's his child too, what if he didn't want it to be born?

when i say abolish , lets look at alternate ways to pay these over the top prices, i do not mean actually get rid of insurance either but come up with better and more affordable ways of paying these .
young drivers in a number of cases are having to pay more for their insurance than the value of the vehicle they are trying to buy, and a lot of them need a car so end up with a car with no insurance this does seem very unfair on them, and forces our premiums up at the same time, either way everyone loses.
in the case of road tax this is beginning to be one of the biggest rip offs for motorists and is supposed to help pay towards the costs of road repairs, if this is the case what happens to the money from speeding / parking fines etc, and the roads are a mess, what do you think

I was on the phone with an IRS employee asking questions about filing a 1040x just as she began explaining the process my oldest son who IS MENTALLY HANDICAPPED was trying to get my attention, I tried to ask her for one moment to aknowledge him and she let me know I should not interrupt her if I wanted my question asked. After waiting on hold for 40-50 minutes I let her finish and apologized for the interruption, but let her know that I was not interrupting her, but shushing my 11 year old son. "If your son is 11 years old and doesn't know any better than to interrupt he either needs discipline or he is mentally handicapped"
I let her know that he was challenged before I burst into one of the worst crying fits I have had in years, I feel gutted, not for me, but for him. I have made calls to every # I can find to the IRS with a very concerned and calming rep who assures me I will be contacted ASAP. I have yet to hear from them. Is there anything I can do?

What is the Constitutional justification for gun control? Does it have to do with the in order to maintain a well-ordered militia stipulation, or is it something to do with the Commerce Clause? Under the Commerce Clause, are they allowed to restrict the ownership of an item whose purchase is illegal? How is ownership proof of purchase, and how do they require gun registration?

bush has been preventing gay marriages because he believes that it is not in God's wishes. i thought that there was supposed to be a seperation of church and state, but apparently bush thinks otherwise. i myself am straight, but i support everything that the gay people may or may not want to do. i believe in the Bible, but i don't believe in Christians repremanding them and preventing them form being happily married. i really don't think that is very Christian-like myself...

if someone was found guilty of writing checks that were not theirs, and went to jail for about a week, and was forced to pay a fine and pension... then, pays the pension off, and about 3 months later, more bad checks start popping up from the past from before the person was convicted... will the person get in trouble again, and possibly more jail time? these new ones were 3 checks written at one store, and written at the same time all the other ones were... and it's not me, it's my friend... what would most likely happen?
