A sheet vinyl floor installation in my home went bad within a few weeks. Every edge and seam separated and curled. The installer would do nothing. The BBB accepted without verifying the statement of his wife that the company is no longer in business. Lisa Madigan's office referred me to small claims court. If I file, and the statute of limitations has run out, I will have paid court costs for nothing. I live on Social Security and can't afford throwing money around. So I have been trying for MONTHS to find out the statute of limitations on this kind of civil dispute to be heard in small claims court. But so far, I have not been able to get the info off the internet. I admit I probably don't know the right ways to search: I'm no spring chicken. I would be so grateful for any help I can get. Maybe there's even an attorney out there who knows the answer and can just TELL me what the limitation is.

Recently, the courts awarded my daughter's father shared legal and physical custody of her but they did not know that her father moved out of his apartment and moved in with his parents. He kept his move a secret from everyone including the courts and led me to believe that he was still living in his apartment when I would pick her up from visits. It's been established in court that Grandma smokes pot everyday and the judges didn't care about that or the fact that her father kept his where abouts a secret. Now my little 2 year old is being left in her care and having to live there for a week every other week for visits with Dad. Also, the judge would not let me speak, and would not take my police report or any of my other evidence for review. She twisted things around on me, threatened to throw me in jail, accussed me of all sorts of things that weren't true, and made me pay $800.00 in court costs. So do you think I should keep trying to keep my little one away from Grandma?

Why doe's society, People, Employee's, etc.....
Continue to hold a felony record against Men & Women "AFTER" your debts have been paid to society, Your rights restored & no existing affiliations exist w/the law.
If one has been rehabilitated & placed back into society, Why is it that his or her past may still be held against them?

his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems like too much of a lenient sentence for a crime like this. please answer if u have knowledge of the law and please serious answers only!

When will our society start prosecuting females tied to having kids to stay on walfare? This is fraud. Welfare was not set up to provide as a head of household. It was not designed to raise kids. When will justice be served on these low life pieces of crap. I hate all of them.
