I've always thought the same thing. Why aren't alcoholics suing Anheuser Busch?

Because alcohol is not directly linked to as many deaths as cigarettes, and the cigarette companies got caught making the cigarettes more addictive to sell more product. Alcohol was never tampered with in this way.

If you get drunk once on alcohol, it does not cause you to be addicted to alcohol. Smoking one pack of cigarettes can cause you to become addicted. So continuing to drink is a CHOICE, not a forced issue.

If someone chooses to drink 7 beers, and then to get behind the wheel, it's more likely than not to be a choice for the consumer/driver. Why should the alcohol companies be held accountable for that? Are you one of those people that thinks that if you eat McDonalds and become obese, you can sue McDonalds for making you eat those fifteen Big Macs? That is closer to the alcohol thing than cigarettes are.

It's a question of money and taxes.. also alcohol in moderation doesn't cause any diseases, whereas smoking in moderation is still as deadly as smoking a packet a day.

because drinking can be done without killing you. Smoking will eventually kill you, but if you drink a beer at dinner everynight - you won't probably won't suffer any ill effects.

You don't mean "effects", you mean affects. Your sentence doesn't make sense if you don't use proper English.
