Why are laboratory scientists switching from rats to lawyers for their experiments?

1. Lawyers are more plentiful than rats;
2. The lab technicians don't get as attached to the lawyers; and
3. There are some things a rat just won't do.

For years, we in America have supported Israel both financially and militarily because we perceived they were the innocent victims of hostile and violent neighbors. The US media has, for years, provided extensive coverage of every incident involving Arab-against-Israeli violence. From shootings, to car bombs to suicide bombers, we in America have seen it all. Or have we?

Why would rational human beings, given a choice, choose to attack their neighbors rather than live together in peace? More pertinent, why would a rational human being choose to blow himself up rather than live? The Israelis, the US media and our politicians would have us believe that the Arabs are simply not rational. They routinely tell us that Arabs are "religious fanatics" who "hate freedom" or "hate our way of life" to quote George W. Bush. These arguments are fallacious and intellectually bankrupt.

The reason for Arab against Israeli violence is simple: The Israelis have been systematically repressing and brutalizing hundreds of thousands of Arabs on a scale unparalleled since World War 2. What would YOU or YOUR LOVED ONES do in retaliation for these things?

I am a bit confused here. Will US citizens pls answer !!!?
A three-part question :
(1) Why does the US government always and always has armed Isreal and not any other country in the region ? -- (2) Why this blatant and constant bias in favor of Israel ?
(3) Do US and England really want peace in the region or peace at any cost to other countried surrounding Israel.
My question is NOT sarcasm. It is out of a genuine wish to know. Thank you.

Some people may play games in the dark (where such crimes are not punished). I have been hurt and I cannot lawfully accused anybody but the damage is done.
What now?

Some small minded people has made a game to me and they succeeded in distracting and hurting me and ruining my inner peace.
Of course, they get away from this with no legal punishment.
What should I do now?

Unwritten constitutions are uncodified. The UK does not have a written constitution, but the rules which shape and determie the formal legal nature of functioning of gov't are contained in a centuries old collection of historic documents, acts of parliament, Common Law, constitutional customs & traditions, and long- standing political usages , or practices.

I advocate for women to be treated like dignified human beings. I also advocate the right for a woman to work, but under the condition that either the man stays home or that both parents work part time- some way that the kids are being raised and supervised enough. Clockwork Orange was a cautionary tale about what would happen if parents didn't raise their kids, and sure enough, the prediction couldn't've come closer to the truth. Another comment- too many "feminists" have this jaded distorted idea that being slutty and murdering children is progressive. How in the hell is self-destructive behavior that loses our respect progress? It's COUNTERprogressive, that's what. It sets women way way way way back.

The International Whaling Commission (IWC), of which Japan is a member, refused to lift the moratorium but the Japanese are whaling again anyway. Do the Japanese really need whale meat to feed their people? Or is this more of a traditional cultural issue for them? What do you think about this?

EVEn if I was just defending my self????

Im looking into some classes about, how to take an attacker down, but it seems like one of those would be good to have as well. ANyone know the law, in which you defend yourself with a weapon that isnt like legal, but you use it purely for Self defence purposes ???what happens to YOU???

I had decided to go get a soda from the machine at von's around midnight. I took my bicycle. On my way back I noticed a police car silently pass me, something in myself said "hm.. I hope not". I stopped for a light, one block from home, when the same car appears behind me. I tense up & see and hear an obvious lesbian dyke-y cop in the passenger side say "are you ok ma'am?". Nothing was going wrong. I say "no, no crimes here".She proceeds to get out of car, ask me get off bike, frisks me, touches my breasts as well, ask me if Im "on drugs", argues that I have an attitude, ask me if I "graduated from high school" and "are you stupid!?". All kinds of insulting, demeaning things. Now they switch their story and say I don't have my bike lite on. I am totally STUNNED, as a carload of gangbangers slow down to watch and the real crime gets away!!! I keep saying "what did I do?". The male cop bellows "we don't like your attitude!!" What can I do. This is harrassment & I was traumatized :(

I forgot something and had to come right back, she is not the owner, but she has keys to all apt., when I caught her she pretended she was going into the mailbox which was right outside my door, but on the opposite side of the hall. I changed the bottom lock, but the next day the owner called me and said I had to give her a key. How did they know that quick that I had changed the lock. And they have to give me a notice before they can come into my apt. I just moved in and there were other signs that someone had been in my apt. before that. And she denys that she was in my apt or at my door but I know what I saw and if she just saw me leave for work what was she doing at my door anyway? By the time I got out my car she was at the mail box with her key in a mail box, but it was not her mail box. I belive the owners is aware of her behavior or how did he know that I changed the lock the next day before I could even tell him, he called me. Now he wants a key for her.Whats a single girl do

What do you think about population control laws? How severe do yo uthink they, and their punishments will get? It is almost a certainty that the time will come when we wil have need of them, but what do you think will happen?

I think we need to impose a law NOW that disallows more than 2 children per couple, except under certain exceptions like a person being with another person...

I know it would suck, and it seems unethical... but what about the millions of deaths that will result from overpopulation if we don;t do something? Don't you think it's worth it?
Opinions?

The systematic and planned extermination of an entire national, racial, political, or ethnic group.

So wouldn't terrorists fall into this catagory? So is genocide acceptable now? Or was it just bad when it was aimed at jewish people?

I personally am against it, unless a willing confession of a crime punishable by it is made.

If one isn't, what if we make a mistake? If you think that mistakes have never been made with this, and never will, you are... well you are wrong to say it nicely.

You know what they say, two wrongs don't make a lef-... right.

Anyway, I see death to be the worst thing that can happen to you (although I would give my life for others), so that is probably where my opinion comes from.

How about all of you?
