A will is personal and you have no rights to say what goes on the will. All you can do at the time when the will is read, is refuse to accept the money.

You can always refuse the inheritance, which may allow it to pass back to someone else or down to your progeny, depending on the terms of the will. However, be aware. If you refuse an inheritance, there could be some type of tax ramifications for you or the person who ultimately inherits. It's called generation-skipping tax and it's a strange bird. So, be sure to get legal advice when the time comes.

I'm no lawyer but I would think there would be a way. Better yet why not just donate it to some deserving family. I know plenty having a hard time even paying for their normal expenses so they can get to and from work with the price of gas and everything else. There are lots of hard hard working people that just can't get ahead because they go in the whole every week trying to get to and from work.

No, but you can disclaim the inheritance. This is better than donating it, since you avoid all the tax implications. I think the usual rule is that you have 6 months to disclaim after you inherit.

No, that is entirely up to the person who owns the will. If you cant take the money or property for some reason, donate it to a worthy charity.
