Want to know the sad truth?? Even if you have a judgement against them, it is your responsibility to locate their assets and then have the Sheriff seize them. So unless you know they are hiding assets somewhere or you know where they work, you're pretty much stuck. A lot of people are what's called judgement proof, i.e. no assets, no money, not worth suing.

You can petition the court to garnish their wages or if it's a large enough amount, you can seize their assets (ie bank accounts, put liens on homes/autos.) Contact your court clerk and they will walk you through the paperwork.

You can go back to court to request a garnishment of wages, or deduction from the person's checking account. It is your responsibility to do the research though. (Employer name, checking acct #, etc.)
