his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems like too much of a lenient sentence for a crime like this. please answer if u have knowledge of the law and please serious answers only!

If you read my other posts I have been arrested mulltiple times. Charged with 9 felony counts, Attempted murder, 2nd attempeted murder, and menacing with a weapon. 3 counts each for the 3 kids.

I am now pleaing to a misdeamonor and a felony which to me I dont deserve even, but I think its because IM a "first" offender ( the other two were misdeamnors defered). This was the worst but I am out on bail as we speak. This is nothing because it wasnt armed and he just wanted money. I shot at people running AWAY. not good. So I dont think its lenient at all. I think he should just get time served. Justice IS not REAL. Its a philisophical question and has nothing to do with the actual law.

Fck the police by the way, and the lawyers. Its just a game to them all, but its our lives they mess with.

A friend's brother stole 40k from an employer, he was first looking at 9 years. It got bargained down to 12 non-consecutive days and if he paid back 6k, the felony would be dropped.

Our judicial system is in need of repair.

I don't know the law. But I think it depends on arm or not armed robbery. Yes 9 - 16 does not sound right.

Seems like a wimpy sentence to me. I thought bank robberies were Federal crimes, if so then he should likely get a more hefty sentence.
