A drunk driver is the cause of a car accident, resulting in three deaths. But he is also injured, and goes into a coma lasting for ten years. Can he still be charged with murder when he wakes up, if he wakes up with amnesia?
Please sight any resources, if possible, where you got them from, or if it's just an opinion or theory, explain the reasons you came to that conclusion.

It really makes me wonder what the government is thinking. Guantanimo bay is a slap to the face of the constitution. Sure they aren't americans but it's illegal to hold somebody against their will with no charges not to mention immoral. That's why we have things like the bill of rights and the constitution, although not many people know what it says without looking it up I assure you what the government is doing is not right, even in the war on terror.

The government cannot bring somebody to trial and not tell them what evidence they have. Any court with any balls would laugh them out of court and tell them to let the guy go if they can't produce evidence against him.

It's not enough to simply have the evidence, you have to present it as well.

I'm no advocate of terrorist rights but I believe that if the government was really in the right then they would cut their bull and work within the constitution. What do you all think?

The judge said in open court (no stenographer or tape) "last 2 weeks of July visitation" but the X's lawyer didn't put it in the final decree. Dad has lawyer, Mom doesn't. Can Mom just go get the kid(teen) or does she have no rights w/out lawyer? The dad has already been charged w/ "criminal" interfering w/a parenting plan & has to appear in Sept. But has convinced the kid that mom is a liar, ho, etc. She can't get through to the kid, he will not or cannot take or make calls to mom. What are her legal rights? (Cops & DA just say write down every attempt at visits & calls & wait til Sept) People say get lawyer=can't afford 1!)

I am not 100% certain my lawyer can do everything she needs to win my case, so I'm considering hiring an additional attorney to co-counsel. Some lawyers claim they cannot speak with me without express permission from my exisitng lawyer. Other lawyers have spoken with me as if it were not an issue that I alread have a lawyer. So my question - is it illegal or unethical for a lawyer to consult with someone who already has a lawyer regarding the same issue?

if the death is cruel for a condemmed killer .they didn't
care about the victim or their family.. I believe that a killer should be executed in the same way that their victim died.
I am so tired of the prissy people crying about punishment of condemmed killers and that they should be treated like a boy scout This is a lot of BULL

I believe myself that they should. I also believe it would make better citizens of the men and women within our community. I also think it should be compulsory when you enter the country from anywhere else around the world. You should also swear your allegiance to whichever country you live and work in and call home. This would help all countries and all citizens a lot better than having just a piece of card, which I must point out is useless because in this day and age anything can be forged. I believe if the persons are for real and want to get on in life and build better futures for themselves and their families then this would be a doddle 'a no problem situation' give me some feedback on this please

There is a photo of a protester with a sign that says "would somebody please give Bush a b***j** so we can impeach him!". It's a good point. If the Republicans can ruin Clinton for an affair, it seems like the rest of us could get Bush for waging war and killing so many people, not to mention completely ignoring the constitution. Yes the Republicans are in majority, but Bush is SO immoral and has done SO many terrible things, it seems like we ought to be able to get him impeached. I am so frustrated. Ideas?
