If the international community would start punishing the nations who sponsor terror Israel wouldn't be in its current precarious position. Israel has a right to defend itself. Tell your elected officials what you think and that they should support Israel's right to defend itself.
Anyone wanting to sponsor Israel instead can find lots of ways to donate by running a search on any search engine. Personally, I have seen a lot of great links on Israel National Radio's website. It is an English language radio station that has given me a lot of great things to think about. My favourite is the Toviah Singer Show. He has amazing guests on, and you hear about stuff the liberal media never tell you. If you want the real story about all this, check it out.

Israel has stated its position on the event of the kidnapping in empirical and reversible terms. They have stated that "If not R, then B." That is elementary logic, not high diplomacy. If the kidnappers return the hostage, the violence will cease. One thing I have observed from Israel (this is a theorem): If they say the violence will stop, it will stop. The corollaries of that theorem are that if another condition occurs which they deem to require military attention, the violence will start anew, and if the present condition continues, the violence will not stop. I have a hard time blaming Israel for showing might in region where they apparently have so many enemies. If Canada and Mexico started abducting US soldiers for whatever fate, we might act similarly.
Israel attacked runways for strategic reasons. That would mean no planes could fly from those runways (bringing bombs, etc. towards Israel.) I will agree that Israel could be more diplomatic, but I must say they are very rational about operations once their policy is stated. I had a buddy tell me he thought the Israelis were out of control. I told him i thought the reverse was true. These are not "hate crimes," but strategic works. instead of occupying your enemy's space, which is impossible anyway (look at occupations through history) you simply make them incapable of fighting. The Israelis are willing to make peace. Try them.

And what are we????
You want Israel punished for aggression on another country when we attacked a nation and overthrew it's government??
I think that is funny, especially coming from the US who was tried in International Court for doing the same thing!!!! We were found guilty and still haven't paid the fines!!
We have no respect for the law, don't expect anyone else to!!!

A Parrnell to this would be shouldn't the United States be punished for aggression on another country? The answer to both is no. We had less cause to enter Iraq than Israel did to enter Lebanon or Gaza. So based on this get a clue.

The United Nations Charter specifically states that nothing in the Charter affects in any way the right of a nation to act in self defense.
Israel was attacked and they have a right to respond ANY way they wish. Too bad they are such nice people. Otherwise they would simply use their nukes to vaporize the Palestinians, Lebanon, Syria and Iran.

Israel is following the teaching of Islam. Does not the holy koran teach killing people ,cutting off heads, bombing innocent people and using force to accomplish goals is good. Just because they don't say "ALLAH AKBAR" first doesn't mean they aren't good moral people like their murdering Islamic Fascist neighbors. All true Islamic believers must rejoice that now they can receive the blessings of Allah the merciful just like the Jews have been doing for years and give thanks to Allah when they see their homes bombed and family members killed . The world should reward Israel not condemn it.for doing what is good according to the teaching of Allah. Look at Dufar,Sudan and see how wonderful the mercy of Allah the merciful is. Everybody should compliment Mr Allah Akbar for developing a merciful theology to improve the world and reward the Israel for doing that which is good.

Actually, Israel is now, and is most often been in the past, a defensing state. Every sovreign state has the authority t protect itself. Idsrael does it a bit differently, but it is still responding to a threat placed by Lebenon... which is backed by Iran

What would you do if Americans in America were killed and others taken across the border? It's nice to hate Israel and all, but no country in the world would tolerate such behavior.
