You should also know that baptisms have been done for Ghengis Khan, Joan of Arc, Josef Stalin and Buddha.

According to the law of agency, the deceased have the right to accept or reject baptism and other ordinances performed in their behalf. Latter-day Saints are baptized not only for their own forebears, but also for other persons unrelated to them. This divinely authorized ordinance of baptism is a demonstration of love and has eternal implications by making the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ available to those who have died without them.

Because we are commanded to spread the gospel to EVERYONE, everyone has to have the chance...God would not be fair and just if not all of his children had the chance.
It is not our place to judge whether or not they are evil, there work must be done and they can choose for themselves if they want to accept it. Just think, we will baptize you after you die!
